- x replies to julieAnd you listened for 10 minutes!?
- KaelThe call me constantly at my place of business and when I say I am recording this and ask not to call this business, they swear and threaten to kill me.
I just had one today and asked him to stop calling and he kept asking how old I was, to which I repeated to stop calling my business, and he started using very vulgar words and I told him I was recording him. The vulgarity continued and he finished with "I'll f**ing kill you" and hung up.- Caller: Cardholder services

- Sick 'n TiredReceived a call from this phone number today. Caller I.D. listed the caller as "Unknown." I do not answer these types of calls, and the caller left no message. . . . To be on the National Do Not Call List does not stop these types of calls.

- totMy elderly mom-in-law is on our cell plan. I keep an eye on her call log to watch for scammers. This # was one of the suspicious ones. Glad I looked it up - I would hate for her to hear some of the things said here! Verizon has blocking for up to 5 #s for free for 90 days. This # went on immediately!
- Ann NoidDon't answer unknown calls -they don't leave messages. Win-Win.
- Amy replies to Mrs. RI'm tired of getting these calls (I usually hang up during the automated part) but I wanted to make them stop.... I pressed 1 yesterday to talk to a real person, explained the situation, the lady was not happy I was not interested in lowering my interest rates, and hung up on me. Today, I pressed 1 again, and an Indian (?) man answered... this is how it went down (I AM VERY VERY VERY CREEPED OUT):
I pressed 1 to speak to a real person... I asked for them to make it so their automated calling system does not call here until after 5pm, that is when my parents are home to make decisions regarding their credit cards. I am a childcare worker and your calls are always waking the children from their naps. I tried asking a different person yesterday and she hung up on me. The Indian (?) guy asked for my age, my name (I asked why he wanted to know my name? He said it is bc I have a beautiful voice) if I want to be friends with him, if I have kids, if I am single or married, if I work (to which I replied, yes, everyone has to work. He told me he works and started to tell me a story about his uncle working). I interrupted and asked him to make a change in the calling system, he asked if I wanted to be friends with him. I told him he was being very unprofessional and I do not appreciate it. I asked again for him to make a change to the calling system, he asked why I didn't want to be friends with him. I asked what company he is calling for to which he said "Mastercard, Visa" I asked him to make a change in the calling system. He said "I can do that for you. I'll talk to you tomorrow." I told him I'd prefer if he didn't call back, but if the company had to, it better be after 5pm. And hung up on him. - unhappy customerIt MAY be a card number stealing scam ( they get you to "verify" and you are giving them your information) , considering how they are responding to people they are calling-because-WE DON"T own any cards and they called us! Plus that number sounds like it may be a fake. Usually creditable companies use a triple-6 number so it's free to you to call them back!

- Left TurnBest thing to do with these people is have some fun,...tell them you're very interested and would like to know the whole ball o wax...ask them flighty questions, speak incoherantly, change your voice while speaking, hold the phone away and pretend to yell at someone else in the room about why the dog is pissing in the cake icing...laugh without reason, belch, fart, who cares?...waste their time for a change and live life without getting all uptight about scamming, schmarmy people and their schemes. For the last time, you people who believe the Do Not Call list works??....it's yet another joke to waste your time and make you upset, and I see here by the several times it's mentioned, that it does nothing but make you insane....relax.

- JennCalled this afternoon. Answered, hung up. This is a common call from these "lower your interest rate" people that act with fcking impunity.
- no oneI had another call from “Card Holder Services” ( # 972-300-0001) I know it is a fishing scam, but they always call under different phone numbers with different area codes. So, today I picked up and answered the phone (without thinking) and because I don’t know about you but I have been receiving political calls out the wazoo! When I heard the company name I decided to wait on the line to talk to a person and ask yet once again to be removed from the calling list. What I was met with when I asked was a strait forward “No” Then it proceeded like this;
Me “excuse me, may I speak to a supervisor”
Fisher “No, you don’t understand the meaning of, No?”
Me “No, as in no I don’t want to talk to you. Give me a supervisor”
Fisher “I have a question are you a porn-star”
Me “What the f*** did you just ask me”
Fisher” Are you a porn-star?” (Saying ever word labored, to make sure I heard what I heard)
Me “You are an illegitimate worker, who works for an illegitimate company, so a porn-star would be more respectable. Get me off your f***in list now”
Fisher “well, you must be a [***] then, why are you talking to me [***]”
Me “that’s f*** you I am putting the conversation up on every web site I can” (clicking hang-up button cause I cannot slam a cordless phone)- Caller: Card Holder Sevrices
- Marty| 1 replyI received a call from Rachel from Card Holder Services offering to lower my credit card interest rates to 6.99%. I pressed 9 to talk to a live operator and told him 5 times very emphatically to stop calling my number and to take me off their calling list. He kept arguing, so I told him I am on the Do Not Call List and I have reported them. He said "I'm from the FCC B****H and you can't do anything". I hung up disgusted. I got another call today from 914-594-9023 with the same recording from Rachel, and when I got the telemarketer on the line and told him to stop calling this number, he knew my and my husband's first names and said he was going to come and blow my f***ing head off. I was stunned, and then he said he was going to come and blow up my f***ing house! I gave the phone to my husband in disbelief and he was told that we owed him $3000.00 and all the same foul mouthed stuff. We hung up and he called back 4 times from a 1-800-412-0744. I called the PA State Police and filed an incident report, put a trace on the number, plus called the FTC and also my phone company. I have done everything I can think of to stop these calls, but from what it looks like to me from all these posts, nothing is working. I am sick of it!

- GBGSWhen I pressed the number to speak to a live person, just to have my name removed from these frequent unwanted calls, there was a click, then suddenly I was speaking to what sounded like an old woman, asking me to please take me off my calling list. THEY PUT ME ON WITH ANOTHER SUCKER! When I tried to call the number back, I got the FAX beeping thing. I, too, am on the Do Not Call list.
- Ms EsseyI don't allow them to speak or press 1. I have a message asking them to not call again.

- Doug PI pressed 9 to connect to a person. I told the guy (who spoke in a funny sort of Chinese accent) that I didn't want them calling me, and they called me all the time. He said he didn't call me. I said well your service called me and thus you are the one I am telling. Then he told me to "go f#@$ myself and hung up!

- Phrustrated in Philly"Rachel" should be ashamed of herself for repressenting this mess. Thy have been calling for months, usually changes phone numbers and locations. This last one was from Texas with same message. It's always my last chance to lower my balances. I hit 9 and talked to the guy. They are fairly rude and do not listen, just keep on talking.
I finally got him to agree to put me on the do-not-call list which I'm sure thy don't have. He told me to wait a minute and I listened to his voice come in and out while I waited. He was speaking in a language I did not recognize though. He then asked me a question I didn't understand, I asked him if that was english and where he was from. He said Afghanistan, I told him this is why we need to pull out our troops and bring jobs back to the US and hung up on him.- Caller: Ardholder Services

- RebaI thought we got a soliciting call for sex from rather than a credit card company from this number! This Indian man was obviously under sexed! He called me every name including the "c" word...And offered many, many explicit innuendos to me! I told him I wasn't offended I've heard it all. He wanted me to hang up and I told him that I don't take orders from men! I talked to him for about 10 mins and just turned everything around on him. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he said he s a n****** And put me on hold twice, which i hung, but of course never got supervisor just [***] and "c" word ! I told him to wrap his lips around a pistol and pull the trigger! He tried to get me to hang up and I would not. Finally, I told him to talk to my cat for a while and to have a nice day! And i set the hone by our cat, I wished I would have told him to call tomorrow! I would have been worse with him but my daughter was nearby. Don't take crap from these people! Give it back to them! It's much more gratifying! I've been smiling all day!
I hope no one is offended by this truthful post.- Caller: Unknown
