- John Bahn| 1 replyI just received a call from this number and appreciate the input from everyone here.
If you live in pennsylvania and want to have fun and possibly make some money on this one if they are indeed making an unsolicited call then ask them for their name, supervisor's name, name of their company and contact information (phone numbers for whoever is calling, the company, etc as well as their address). Once you have this contact the department of justice who is going after these telemarketers.
Be sure to let the caller know you're reporting them and looking forward to them being fined for each and everytime they've called REGARDLESS if you've answered the call or not. They'll crap a brick!!!- Caller: unknown
- gertie replies to John BahnBut, they will not tell you their name, the name of their company, their address , etc. Why would they? According to reports, all they know is to defy and insult people who try to talk to them. So, what's the point?
THis is not the first time they have called here from this number, but we get calls from the same type of outfit from a dozen or more different numbers. This one actually left a message, about how they watn to lower our rates, and how this is our "last chance." I love that -- it's been our "last chance since about a year and a half ago....and then their message says to press nine to talk to somebody. I don't see how pressing 9 can activate anything, when it is a saved message. I get the impression that these people are idiots. I mean, really idiots -- not smart at all. Just obnoxious. - halconstant calls by company not affiliated with any known credit companies. Cease and desist. I am registered with do not call -. this has been reported.

- Marion A. GagnonReceived a call from 972-300-0001. It was a robo call from "Rachel" Credit Card Services. My number is registered on the federal do not call list. These calls are nuisance calls and it appears no one can stop them.
- Caller: Credit Card Services
- BeckieThey hung up when the answering machine picked. I was having problems last fall with another number and had to pay $5 a month to block calls to my phone. It is ridiculous that when I reported them to the FCC last year nothing was ever done. They don't do anything and these spammers know it.
- Caller: ???
- Charlie MStarted calling my house now. Has a series of random numbers and letters for the caller id name. By the sounds, I'm glad I didn't pick up.
- SGThey are calling again. The call starts with a recording from Rachel telling me there is not a problem with my account, but I am eligible to lower my interest rates as low as 6.99%. She then tells me to press 9 to talk to an operator. When "Sam" gets on the phone, he asked me how I am doing, I told him fine. I told him I am on the Do Not Call List, and to remove me from his list. I hung up, I am not in the mood to hear something unpleasant. I am tired of these calls from this number. What can we do to stop them?
- Caller: CARROLLTON,TX
- cathyJust got a call from these people and asked to be taken off the list because we are on the do not call list. The guy with the Indian accent who refused to identify himself said he did not have the authority to do that and asked me when I got on the do not call list. It's not his business, I asked him for the name of the company so that I could report it and he said that the name of the company was "Financial Services" and that the address is "The Pentagon". Give me a break, I told him that he was being ridiculous and he said that I was being ridiculous. I asked to speak to a manager and he said no, I said that I was going to report them and he started laughing and said "who the f*** are you going to report me to?"

- Yvonne RenaudI keep getting calls concerning credit card balances, which I don't even have from this number, 972-300-0001. The "supervisor" is rude and impossible to deal with when I tell him I am on a no call list.
- Yvonne RenaudI keep getting calls from this number, trying to get me to reduce my credit card interest rates, etc., when I have NONE. The supervisor is rude and impossible to deal with when I told him do not call, and I am on a no call list.

- Mike TrzPennsylvania. Well here it is, 4th of July, and this bogus number shows up on my caller ID. Fortunately I've learned to make good use of an old boat horn that has been laying around. Once upon a time, there was a certain level of etiquette when answering the phone...now I just either pick up and leave it on the desk or truly blow them off with a horn. Nothing good ever comes from an unsolicited phone call on a holiday.
- AndreaSaid he was "Card Services" Called me July 4th. July 4th must be the day they call PA residents. Told me I had a $5000 debt. I don't owe a cent. Started to say this was a new phone number and they probably wanted the people who had it last. The caller hung up in the middle of my sentence.
- CarolReceived call July 23, 2012. Did not answer and they left no message.
- CSThese jerks came in as "Carrollton, Texas," a suburb of Dallas. Don't know what they wanted and didn't pick up because I've seen that number come in before. They did not leave a message on the voicemail.
- Caller: Don't know
- TBird04I think every time we get these calls we should call our Fed. Representative and [***]. We pay good tax money to run that useless 'Do not call list'. I am sure everyone has reported these numbers and, as usual for a government agency, do NOTHING!!!! Just like all the other 'helpful' federal agency. .......but you don't pay enough taxes; REALLY!!!! Anyone know how to forward all these calls to my U.S. Senator's office ?
- Caller: Just list # or state.
- luxury? try modern standard. and free. replies to Fremont, OhioCell phones are offered for free to people who cannot afford them through several (some state-involved) programs. Educate yourself. Stop bitching. People will do what they want regardless of authority OR what you think of it. Face reality. Face modern living. Get a cell phone. A free one, if need be. And dial 9-wha-wha the next time you need to cry.
In other new, they called me today (Aa little over a year from the date of the post I am replying to) and left no message. Clearly they have not been stopped. They are basically phone-line trolls, instead of online trolls, and for their creativity and clearly satirical comedy, I applaud them.
Now that you've read both paragraphs... everybody see what I did there at the top? ;) - PhilA scam recording from 'Rachel from cardholder services ...'. Got this call around 11:30AM this morning - amazing that the exact same recording from 'Rachel' called earlier today around 10:15 AM under a different number (224-000-0009). Exact same recording. Obviously a scam.
