- itsme replies to BobReport the call with details of what you did to your Attorney Generals Office. If you are on a state no call list they may have an online form (I'm also on fed no call list) that you can submit. The reason I say that is that there have been instances where people can get charged by a third party company via their phone bill by pressing numbers (check phone bill charges is wise -- found out that telephone companies are required to submit 3rd party claimed charges in their bill but if you did not receive a service you can tell the phone company why you are not paying that part of the bill and they should not have a problem with that -- when I first got my present number there was a monthly charge from a fake company -- refused to pay for unsolicited claimed service and told phone company and that is when I learned about 3rd party charges. If you don't check your bill you might have a $5 or $10 charge from such a fake company. I learned that many folks don't review their bills so the phone company winds up paying out your money to the 3rd party scammer).
- wmA call from the 978 number came in to my cell phone. I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number. My cell is for emergency purposes only. Family and close friends only have my number. It makes me wonder if the cell phone carrier has sold my number or has someone hacked into a data base and gotten the number. I'm glad I thought to Google the number. Seeing and reading these posts have helped. I don't have any credit cards, so they shouldn't have been calling me and especially on my cell phone.
- electrical...We frequently receive calls from this number at work. Today, I pressed 0 rather than hanging up... once she answered, I asked to be removed from their list... she hung up without a response...

- Mike LunaI received a call telling me that I qualify for a lower interest rate...I am on the do not call list, but too many people disregard this...not only Canada, but this country also(USA). The telephone company (verizon)should have a better and simple technique of dealing with abusive, disrespectful, prying and inconsiderate phone calls...I don't blame people for smashing the face of some...the damn telemarking [***] looking to take advantage of the seniors and other innocent people who drop their guard. They behave like bankers...

- J KesserI continue to get calls from this number. I am not interested and I am on the
no call register - If you call again I will press charges- Call type: Telemarketer
- mkI just received a call from the above-mentioned number and there was no answer on the other end. After a few "Hello?s" I hung up and googled the number and found this site. FRUSTRATING! I, too, am on the DNC list and wish there was something we could do about these unwanted solicitors.

- Anita S.The agent stated he had charged my credit card of $750.00 USD, and for the charges to be reversed I need to give him the credit card number. I did not fall for it. But, I have been dealing with these people for the last 8 months. I have had blocked their numbers, and I am on the DO NOT CALL list also.. It does not matter what type of blocking you do, they keep calling you. It is as you blocking your number makes them work even harder to harrass you.
I called my credit card company, they are watching for this charges if they show up. I also call the Police. The officer told me he himself had 3 other callers this morning about this number. And on 1 of his calls , they did get a card number, they ran his number in Kanas, but his bank called him to verify the transaction, and the bank denied it.
The scam is telling you they charge your credit card of $750.00, and in order to reverse the charges, they need your credit number. HANG UP! DO NOT try to get them from calling you anymore. DO NOT TALK to them! They are very sharp, witty. Do Not mess with them!- Caller: Card Services

- AlFYI,
1) Don't even pick up the call ----- you are not obligated to talk to anyone on unknown phone numbers . Surely you don't open unknown e-mail addresses, do you?
2) if it's important enough your unknown caller should leave a message
3) if you happen to answer the call and the caller is a telemarketer, or is rude or pushy just say "hang on a minute" ( don't even wait for a polite opening ), put the phone down, and later, hang up when you hear the dial tone.
4) are you being charged to call that area code 321 number to remove your phone number from the call list? just curious
TIME is the most valuable asset to telemarketers so the longer you keep them on line the more likely you will be removed from the contact list. DON'T TALK TO THEM !!! It works for me !!
Am now able to blacklist phone numbers on our Ooma system and set the system to continuously ring. See Ooma.com- Caller: unknown
- bobKeeps calling even though I am on the Do Not Call list. Pain in the...neck!

The next time they call you, again, ask them to take your number off their call list.
If someone says something rude again or says anything about your request
other than "I will take your number off the list, sorry for
the inconvenience or bothering you" or something like that.....tell them
that if they call you again you will be reporting them for harrassment!! Firmly
tell them NOT to call you again and take your number off of their call list!!
It is illegal for them to call you again, ever!! They can be tricky though and
use other numbers, names, etc......I put them on my block list of my cell phone..
that works too but we shouldn't have to go through all this mess just to stop
receiving unwanted calls - HAHAHAHAHAI also received a call from this number today. Since I only have one credit card, which is in excellent standing, I did not answer when I read "Credit Card Services" on the caller ID. After reading everyones posts I will answer the next time and give them my credit card information so that they may assist me. My card number is [removed:lang] and will tell them that, verbatim. What gives them the right to do this?!?!!?
- HowardGot the call just as i was teeing off. What a bummer.

- RickJ41 replies to xxLouA| 2 repliesPhone number: 978-570-2339 is "Credit Services", Willmington, MA. This is a Preditory Collections Bureau, also alleged Lawyers? They make terroists' threats, threaten to come to your home, jail and court, etc. File a "Consumers" Complaint with the FTC, they will take care of the calls usually, (90%) of the time....
To stop their calls, First try the Gov-DoNotCall,(kind of slow), Second- The Better Business Bureau of Willmington, MA, (Faster), Third (this always works), The Federal Trades Commissions (FTC).
