I got a call from these people too.  I don't know what they want either.  I am also on the Do Not Call Registry with FTC.

Got a call from 978-570-2339 and it showed "Seervice Info" on the caller id so I didn't answer it. Called the number back later and the automated answering service gave me the option to opt out so we'll see if that works. These pesky robo calls are getting irritating.

I'm in Calfirnoa and received a call from 978-570-2339.

When i answered they said "this is an important call from card services,. There is no problem with your credit card, but we are calling to offer you lower credit rates, as low as 6.9%. Press 1 to speak to an operator or press 2 to stop receiving offers. I pressed 2 and got someone in card services, so I hung up.

At NO TIME did they identify themselves as to which card company they were calling about.

SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.

People please read the information provided to you when you get on the do not call registry website:  It clearly states that when you submit your complaint to them they do not act upon it.  The complaint is directed to a database which is accessable by law enforcement and agencies for research for specific cases that the information might pertain to.  So it just sits there and you keep getting the calls.  File your complaint with the FCC or FTC.  If the complaint falls within their realm of activity control they will act upon it.  Otherwise they will notify you that they have forwarded your complaint to the "do not call registry".  Of course if these predators we deal with on our telephones on our time ever call one of our Federal law makers and pull their scam on them or attempt to pull it you bet your rear end action will be taken and within the next 24 hours.  That is the only way it happens.  That is how the FTC went after and nailed the car warranty scammers.  They called a member of congress from I believe Virginia and the next thing we were reading the story on the internet and how the Feds went after the company.  We can only wait and hope.  My answer to the entire bunch of blood sucking vermin is to simply not answer the call.  If I don't recognize the info on the caller ID they get the answering machine.  It does not cost me a dime to let them talk to a machine.  They can make all the threats they want to the machine, it means nothing to me and I owe no one anything.

We received a call from the number on Tuesday May 24th 2011...all attempts to return the call their line was busy.

No caller ID name...just the telephone number.

We would like our phone to be removed from this calling list if possible.

I just received a call from 978-570-2339 and didn't answer.  I returned call and got a recording stating, "if you no longer wish to receive offers on reducing credit card interest rates, press "1""   I did and we'll see if they call back.

i agree with the comments above.  the do-not-call list seems to be becoming meaningless.

I got a call from "heather" at account services for my credit card account.  They want to lower my rate.  But reputable companies do not make cold calls.  I didn't take the bait.

It would be a bad idea to give your info to anyone making cold calls.  Since most major banks, credit unions, and credit card companies voluntarily respect the do-not-call list, you should be very careful.  I have heard of seniors being ripped off by these types of phone calls.

received a call from 978-570-2339  saying it was from my credit card provider.  They said they could lower my interest rate to 6.76 % and if I wanted to talk to someone to press 1 and if not to press 2 to avoid any further calls.  I am a retired banker and understand scam calls.  Put this number on a Federal watch list.  As I have read they represent themselves as various entities.

I place my phone # on a do not call list, why am I getting unsolicited phone calls.

I spoke with the person very hard to understand. He wanted to lower my interest rate on my visa card and told me the numbers on the card and asked me for the last 8 digits to verify. I told him he called the wrong number. Not interested and that I would call my Visa and verify if they are going to lower my rate

SCAM - - - Caller ID said OUT OF AREA and there was a recording saying my credit cards were okay but it was very important that I call them to get my credit cards lowered.

I have gotten more phone calls from this number telling me I have very little time left to lower my credit card interest rate. It give me the option to press #3 and they will take me off of their calling list. I'm also told that this will be my final call so I had better act quickly to take advantage of this "once in a life-time opportunity.
    The "card specialists" that come on the line CANNOT speak to me in a language that I can readily understand. I've asked to talk to someone that knows how to speak English but most times the person that I'm given to is harder to understand than the first "specialist".
    Why do we have to keep receiving these idiotic phone calls. I have told them that if I ever need their help that------------- I WILL CALL YOU.

I called the FTC today and camplained, they said that the more people that call in to the FTC and give them the numbers that are calling them they will get more done.... so if all you do is post to this page they will keep calling but if you call the FTC and complain they have to fix it ......

When I asked to speak to the operator's supervisor to complain, there was an immediate hang-up.Caller ID indicates Credit Services

It has been reported that this call comes out of Boston. However I am on the Do Not Call list and want the calls from this number to stop.

Received a call from this # stating this is the last chance to discuss your credit card. HA HA HA , the joke is on them, I pay CASH!!!  So they can kiss my a__

Just got a call from this number. They claimed to be a credit card services company that will lower my card rate. When I pressed "1" to talk with a rep., he was unresponsive when I asked who he was and rude (called me a liar) when I told him that I was recording the number for violating the "Do Not Call" list.

Just got a call, *69 it since my house phone doesn't have caller ID (It's worth the extra money when I don't know who it is). Them claimed to lower my credit card interest to 6.9%. RED FLAG: CUZ I DON'T EVEN HAVE A CERDIT CARD! Do they call everyone or should I be worried that someone has stolen my identity? A live person came on the line and I said (in an appropriately rude voice) "Uh, I don't have a credit card" and before I could ask what this was all about, they hung up on me.. Can't reach anyone at the number
