Just got a call from this number on my cell phone, with an Indian accent.  Saying that I won a security system, and ask if I own a home.  I told him that my phone # is on the DO NOT CALL list, and hang up.  I asked them first if they are trying to sell me something, the guy said no, but that I won something.  Just hang up.

My husband and I have cell phones that are one digit away from each other.  We both got the call at the same time.  He and I were part of 10 households that were randomly selected for a free GE security system to be set up in our home.    The woman I was speaking with I did understand but I kept interrupting her script to ask her questions.  She got her "supervisor" on the phone to read me the same script.  I asked him what my name was.  He said our number was randomly selected and we just need to answer some questions to see if we qualify for the promotion.  He kept insisting that this was legit when I said it seemed suspicious.  I finally told him that he can just give it to some other lucky family.  He thanked me for my time and hung up.

Indian male with accent.  They called and my wife told them we are on the do not call registry and hung up.  They called back 10 min later and I let them have it.  Not sure what we can do at this point if they keep this up.

They called 10 minutes ago. TSS Inc. 978-570-2411. Did not left message.

They have called my house four times tonight.  We called our phone provider to find out about blocking the call.  We were given two options by our provider, Comcast.
1 – answer, hang up then get a tone again and dial *57 this will report the last call to the authorities and they will be able to trace the number.
2- answer, hang up then get a tone again and dial *60 and follow prompts to block a number.  
If they call back we are going to do option 1 then option 2.  Update to follow if they call back.

I just received my second call from them.  I first received a call about a free security system in November from a different number.  Then again in mid december.  I reported both to FCC do not call registry.  Then two more times from this one.  I have no idea how to stop them.  They just change their number after getting blocked enough.

My mom and I have cell numbers that are one digit off from each other. We just got a call from this number at the same time. We're both at home, so I could hear my mom's phone ringing in the other room. When I answered, the guy on the other end said he was from GE. I asked if it was a sales call, and he said that it wasn't a sales call, it was a "promotional call". I said I just wasn't interested and hung up. My mom said she couldn't understand the lady who called her and she hung up. Both of our numbers are on the Do Not Call list, so I'm going to go file a complaint.

This number called, but didn't leave a message.  I wish someone would make it illegal to do cold calling to residences.  This is so fusterating being on the dang do not call list and getting called by scammers looking to get private and confidential informaiton.

I called GE after getting a call from someone claiming to be offering me a 'free GE security system. They aren't GE, and GE apparently doesn't own any security systems that can be given away. It appears it's someone hoping to get the name and address that goes with the phone number. This kind of thing has happened to me several times, one person claimed to be soliciting  a subscription for a major newspaper. Once she had what she believed was my address and name, she hung up on me. She worked for Landmark something, based in Texas. All she wanted was to match my unlisted number with an address and name. Oh, and if you call the company they are impersonating, that company won't be happy, so give them a call. They have more clout than you or I.

I couldn't understand a word the person was saying, and I wonder if they were speaking English. I hung up on them.

Received calls on 2/3/11 from 978-570-2411 TSS on voice & fax lines, no one on the other end, both numbers are on the Nat. do not call list, reported to , www.donotcall.gov

A man with what I would characterize as an Indian accent said he was John calling from my local GE dealer.

On my caller ID this number said TSS.
There was no message or anything.

voicemail from 978-57-2411, but it sounded like an accidental call with a lot of voices in the background. Maybe it was a boilerroom operation either way they didn't leave a message which is annoying in my opinion.

I just received a call from 1-989-570-2411 and the only thing showing on Caller I.D. was "Wilmington, MA" I googled the telephone number and found all of you discussing the same calls from the same number. Noticed at least one post indicated they have an unlisted number (so do I). I should back up to say that while I stood by the phone as it rang (not recognizing the number), I let the machine pick up, but of course they left no message. I hit the talk key to call them back, and yes, there is a recording that says thank you for your call back. However, it also goes on to say that if you are not interested in our special promotions and will to be removed from our list, please press 1.  I did that, and the recording thanked me and that was it. Hopefully they really did remove me.  Just wanted to pass that on to the rest of you.

I just REC. the same phone call and it says on my phone I.D it is TSS INC and they just called my at 6:28PM 2-7-11

Two calls tonight.

If they are interested in your desire for (therefore lack of) a security system, just say, "I already have a security system" and hang up.

Who knows what the real motive is.  If they have a phone number, they probably have an address.

Called me again last night 7:45 p.m. Asked again to be removed. Said he "needed" to take a survey about my system whatever that means.
