I received a call this evening from this number - caller id read TSS, Inc. - a man with Middle Eastern accent started asking questions about smoke alarms and fire extinguishers - he said he wasn't selling anything just conducting a survey. - seems very odd.

I just got a call from this number but no one seemed to be there. i said hello a bunch of times but did not get a response...weird

Recieved a call from this # tonight. Sounded like a young girl who said she was sorry for the wrong # and hung up.

I keep getting calls from a man with a foreign voice saying "This is not a sales call, but  only a survey...Do you have smoke detectors in your house?"  I probably got about 6-7 calls within the last 6-7 weeks.  I never give them an answer, so I don't know why they keep trying to call and ask again. I asked them to take me off their call lists 2-3 times now.  So I started writing down the numbers the last two times - 561-300-8724 showed as "Unknown" on 1/25/11 and today on my caller ID, it said TSS Inc. 978-570-2411.  I think it was the same guy's voice using this other number.  I told him I'd had enough and had his number and was now reporting him and hung up !  I'm sick of this and am searching the web for ways to make him stop and PAY me for bothering me !!!!!  

Does anyone know what my next step might be ?

I just received a call from 978-570-2411 at 9:00pm. It woke up my toddler. The caller ID said "Wilmington, MA" and when I answered there was a man with a heavy Indian accent on the the other end. I could barely hear what he said or where he said he was calling from because his English was bad, but I did hear something about a free smoke alarm.

I yelled at him for calling late at night and hung up.

I have been on the "Do Not Call List" for several years. When I tried to report this # on their website it said that the complaint could not be processed because 978-5570-2411 has not been an established # for 31 days. -No idea what that means????

The phone call is from TSS, INC.
You did not win anything!
This is a common practice used by shady security installing companies.
They give you the system for free; you have to pay a monthly service fee.
The legitimate companies offer you the same thing, only they aren't claiming that you "won" anything.

Got this call from same #, couldn't understand a word the lady was saying.  I just told her to try again in English, and if she couldn't do that to stop calling, and hung up on her.  Haven't heard back.

Got this call, didn't answer no message

Got a call about half an hour ago.  Nobody on the other end when I picked up.  Called back, got busy signal twice, third time I got the auto "Thank you for your callback.  To be removed yadayadayada."

I received this call today on my cell phone.  I would like it blocked from further calls

Just got a call from this number, no one said anything, but caller ID came up with Wilmington, MA

Received a call from this number stating it was GE and I had won a free home secuirty system. I told them I already have one and they hung up. My husband has 1 digit difference in our phone numbers and his phone rang at the same moment mine did with the same foreign accent person telling him the same thing.

They are "learning".  Got a call tonight, said it was a home security survey.  Asked if I had smoke detectors, changed the batteries, and had a working fire extinguisher.  Then he asked what my main home security concern was - fire, burglary or something else.  I said "fire I guess".  He said, okay, to finish the survey, I just need to verify that your last name is G-R-E-E-N-E.  Is this correct?  I said no.  He said, I'm sorry is your last name pronouced G-R-E-E-N-E? (he was saying the letters, not saying the name).  I said no it isn't. He said, I apologize, how do you say your last name?  I said, well, the name you spelled isn't my last name, so you have the wrong number.  He said, no ma'am, this is the correct number.  Is your first name pronounced B-R-I-A-N?  I said, no, you have the wrong number.  Then he started talking over me, saying he had the right number and just needed to verify my name or he couldn't count the survey.  I finally screamed "excuse me, I'm talking!" and he got quiet.  I said, the name you are spelling is not associated with the number you called, so remove this number from your database immediately.  He said I'm sorry and hung up.  He had the Indian accent, but his English was very good.  I haven't read that anyone else got this type of call.  Maybe they are trying a different tactic??

Get an air horn.  When they call, press the horn against the phone and let it rip.  Most likely they'll be deaf for the rest of their lives.  So much for bugging me again - I've asked them to stop calling multiple times and they keep doing it.  They were warned.

Received a call from 978-570-2411 to my cell phone @ 11:45 AM on 2/23/11.  Did not answer (glad I didn't based on these posts) and no message was left.  My cell phone is registered on the DO NOT CALL so I will report this call to them as well.
