These guys called me last night to conduct a survey about whether or not we have a smoke detector. The line static was AWFUL, and I told them I had one but didn't have time for a typical survey. Pretty sure it was a scam, but couldn't make out enough of what they said to be sure.

just got a call, when i picked up it started ringing on the other end then the call disconnected.  i did not call it back.

Didn't answer the call from TSS INC. at 9 p.m. When I called the number back, a female English speaking voice thanked me for calling and stated if I would like to have my number removed from their preferred calling list, press 1.  After pressing 1, the voice stated to allow 72 hours to have my number removed.  

After registering this evening for the third time on the official National Do Not Call List, I am wondering if the scammers use that list to find our numbers just to irritate us?

No message, called several times. Checked for phone number on line and found this site.

Woman barely understandable wanted to know if she could take a survey & asked if we had a smoke detector.  Told her we didn't have time & hung up.

Phone call came in telling me that 10 people were to be given Ge security systems.  I told the woman Not interested and Do not call here again.  Then went and called the do not call registry.  I suggest you all do the same Phone Number for the do not call registry 1-888-382-1222.

Got the annoying boiler room call at 2:46 P.M. heard background noise from that call center but no one ever said a word on the other end.  I've gotten the bs calls about GE Home Security System and crap asking about smoke detectors before.  Called that number back and hit 1.

I got a very hard-to-understand female call center worker (very noisy in background) calling and claiming to be from GE, General Electric.  She had a heavy accent, and I said, sorry, I'm not interested and hung up.  We are supposed to be on a DO NOT CALL list.  Caller ID said TSS Inc.

Received call tonight for the first time.

I got this call on Feb 24th and my caller ID said TSS Inc. I didn't answer.

My iPhone showed this number with a "011" prefix.  It's coming from outside the country and they're spoofing the system to make it look like it's a domestic number.

They've been calling my law office all afternoon. I think I finally got the point across, thankfully. What a pain in the you-know-what.

I have been getting calls from this number. They call and if I don't answer right away they hang up with no message. I am on the do not call list but it seems to do no good. These crooks probably look on the do not call list to get the numbers to call.

We have started getting these calls, one tonight from 978-570-2411 and last week same call but from a NY number. Same questions- do you have smoke detectors, do you have fire extinguishers.

My husband  said "Yah I bought the S75 smoke detector from you and the house burnt down" and without missing a beat the caller asked "Do you have fire extinguishers?" and my husband said " No because they all burnt in the fire because your f#$%ing smoke detector didn't work!" and hung up.

I don't know what the point of their calls are, other than to be harassing, rude, and scam people into giving their information, but can you imagine- they don't even listen to what you say, it's like talking to robots.

My caller ID said out of area call with only the phone number. I barely could understand what he was saying finally he spoke slower & asked if I needed a smoke alarm. told him i was on th edo not call list & I hung up.

Phone just rang at 8:10 p.m., the number showed up in the caller I.D., I said hello a number of times but there was apparently no connection. I appreciate reading the other posts so I can give other members of the family a heads-up to not answer ANY questions if they call again.

First of all it shows up as  TSS Inc.  It is the people who call and ask you if you havesmoke alarms and asks you if you check them every 6 months.  Just for the hellof it I answered their questions to see if where they were going with it.  It was just those two questions and then they asked me my first name.  Nothing else.  I gave a fake first name.  Then two days later from that same number a guy called (very hard to understand the people).  He asked for the same fake name I gave the previous time so that is how I know it is the same a$$h***s.  He said that I had answered a phone survey several days ago and that my number was selected in my state to win a free home security system. I told him I already had one (really I don't unless you want to count these two vicious dogs here LOL)  He then said "oh" and asked me if I was happy with their service and I said yes and then he hung up.

You can do that *60 and follow the prompts and block them but if you don't subscribe to the service on a monthly basis you might get charged daily to have it blocked which will add up to more than if you subscribed to the service.  Call your phone company to find out the rates etc.
