So far this morning I have received 8 phone calls from this number in a span of 3 hours and this is after I answered their call yesterday, told them I wasn't interested and not to call me again.  I tried to call the number back but it is just busy.  Driving me nuts!! Next step is to call verizon and block the number I guess.

This phone # has been blowing up my cell phone for the last 2 days. Yesterday they called 5 times and today they have called 5 times and it is about 10-20 minutes between calls. I called the phone # & it says press 1 if you want to be removed but it can take up to 72 hours. I did that yesterday & today. It is frustrating that they keep blowing up my phone. Obviously I dont want to talk to them because I dont answer my phone. Dont they ever get a clue???

They keep calling my cell phone. I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling, but get ignored all the time. They are trying to sell me a security system, and I don't even own my home.

Twice today! Some security system scam.

Why do telemarketers even bother?  Are people really falling for this?  I don't know who I would blame for this.  If it wasn't economical for them to do this, they wouldn't.  I'm on a do not call list.  They could be fined if someone bothered to track them down.  Reward if someone choke slams the person responsible for all these unwanted, unsolicited, and disrespectful, phone calls.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell number.  After reading all of these posts and seeing many references to verizon phones that are getting the calls, make me wonder if someone hacked into verizon and got a list of phone numbers.  My number is on the do not call list, and I have not given this number out on any online surveys or to anyone new but have started getting these calls.  How can I make them stop!!!

I'm on it.  We will track this guy down and choke slam him.  Just to be fair, I will also choke slam the people that he has made money off of.  If it wasn't for them, he wouldn't be doing this nonsense.

This started with me about a week ago. sometimes I get 10 calls a day and I never have picked it up. Makes you wonder why they are so persistent when nobody picks up.

Last time this kind of thing happened to me was with some online degree program. That time you could at least call back and talk to someone but they kept calling and they were very annoying. I started using my 3-way conf feature. I would call them and when it started to ring I would add another call immediately to the same # and conf them in with me. One operator would answer and they would talk to each other while I listened. Quite funny when they learned they were a cube away from each other. That didn't stop the calls so I ended up finding the corp lawyer and CEO's extensions and 3-way'd the operator with the exec assistants. Almost died laughing.

This time the cowards use a # that doesn't accept incoming calls. Thankfully somebody here posted the company name and #. Thinking it would be cool to forward all of their calls to themselves. Googled this and found out that you can forward calls pretty easily.  I didn't want to forward all my calls to them that would disrupt my own use. But I did find out that there are 3 different conditions that can be setup independently . 1. forward unanswered calls, 2. Forward when call is declined, 3. Forward when phone is off.  decided that # 2 would not be disruptive to me and I could control when to forward.

This may only work on ATT phones. Dial in the following into your phone and it will forward the call to their own #. I tried it and it works. Haven't received a call since I declined that last one from them.

NO! They don't stop. And being at work and having their number call my phone every 10 mins is getting super irritating. It says to give them 24-48 hours or something but I doubt that works. AT ALL. Can't seem to find anything here so will continue to google how I can put a stop to this!

You need to file a report with the FCC.  These are scam artist not telemarketers.

Get calls at least once a day from this #. Won't answer them so I don't know who it is. They never leave a message. I'm going to see if Verizon will block the number so I don't get the calls anymore.

What a pain this phone number is!  I've been getting calls off and on for a few months.  Last week I accidently answered the call on my cell and heard a recording saying to press 1 to be removed from their list, which I dumbly did.  That action alone must have triggered to them that the call was answered because I got a call from them every 10 minutes for the rest of the day.  They stopped around 5pm PT on Friday 6/17/11.  I didn't get a call over the weekend but at 8:35am PT this morning (Monday 6/20/11) I just got another call...we'll see how much they blow my phone up today.  Sure wish I could block the call or create a contact with a silent ring but no-can-do...unless someone else who has an iPhone 4g knows how!

I just got three phone calls from this number between 8:32 and 8:58 am. Didn't catch name of the company but they're selling home security systems. They use some kind of computer synthesized voice to talk, but it's a human operating it I think? I'm on the Do Not Call registry. I urge everyone who gets a call from this company to file a complaint so they'll be investigated and stopped. I use a pay-as-you-go cell phone so I had to spend money to even talk to the jerkwads to get them to stop calling me. We'll see if they actually do that.

Here's where to file a complaint if you've been on the Do Not Call list for more than 31 days:

I have received calls from 978-570-2446 every day for months now. I never answer, they never leave a message. However, today I made the mistake of thinking the call was from a 973- number that I had been waiting for and ANSWERED IT! It was "a garbled name, how are you?" I said "fine - how are you?" He said "good - thanks for asking". Then he asked if I was interested in a free security system in exchange for putting a sign in my yard. I told him (1) I had a security system and (2) our neighborhood does not allow signs in the yard. His next question was one I should never have anwered, but I guess this was my "idiot-day". He asked if my security system was monitored and I told him it only had an alarm. As soon as I did this I thought I had put my family in danger. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS PERSON ANY INFORMATION IF YOU ANSWER! Fortunately (I guess), he called my cell phone and it is connected (if at all) to my office, not my home. I have not answered any surveys, dealt with Southwest or Olive Garden; but I do have a listing on Craigslist (as someone in this blog has already surmised). I will have my phone company block the call if it continues, but the guy seemed satisfied with my (too-much) information and said good-bye. Hope this helps some of you.
