I keep getting calls with no messages.  I don't know this number and registered with the "do not call list".  This is intrusive and a waste.  How do I get it to stop?

Is there any way to stop these unwanted calls.  I never answer the phone, but they are very annoying

Not only have they been calling me for months, multiple times a day, starting early in the morning, but today I received EIGHT calls. I've pressed '1' to be removed MULTIPLE times but nothing stops them!! I've finally just filed a complaint with the DNC registry, hopefully it works, they really are a disturbance.

I told them I already have ADT and am in a 2 year contract (which is true)....he hung up and hasn't called back since (and that was over a week ago)!

Keeps calling my cell phone collect.  Couple times a day. Operator says "Will you accept a call from ________, press 1...".    The name is always blank.  I always hang up.  This has been going on for months now.

Had  missed call from this number. I called it back, got a recording that said " If you a not interested in receiving info about promotions and want to be removed from our call list, please press 1" I pressed 1 we'll see what happens

Today, I have received 5 calls from this number "GRNSEC", within 25 minutes. I never answer them, but they keep trying. I think this borders on harassment. We are on the DNC list, but this doesn't stop them.
Maybe I need to get an air horn to use as an answering machine.

I don't know if this works yet as I just heard about it but I was told that when you get these absurd call that if you just keep hitting the star key, it sounds to the caller like a fax line.  Hope this helps all of us.

Thanks tons for this info. I just blocked their call. I"m on the do not call list, filed a complaint, but still was getting calls. This will help for sure.

Another good one is to respond as if you're going to buy, extend the call as long as possible and then hang up.

And one more that I like is to say that "Now is not a good time for the call." To which virtually any telemarketer will respond with "Oh, what would be a good time to call you back." To which I respond without hesitation. "May 17th, 2016 after 10:00 am" (Note that this is not a typo, it is what I say to the caller.)

I keep receiving calls from this number at least 2 times a day,, it is very annoying.  I wish they stop calling

They have been calling me on and off for nearly 2 months now. Tried listening to the message, but it is a recording that almost sounds real, but isn't and keeps asking to "verify that I am the homeowner". Its stupid too, since I don't even own the home!  which if you say no, it then asks who the homeowner is.

The first time they called, it was the same gimmick, but claimed it was a satellite company with a box, etc. Since they started a month ago I have gotten 9 unknown numbers that follow their same call pattern (call morning, call mid-day, call at night). Some I answer and it says nothing, twice it has been the security gimmick but from two different numbers. Most times I ignore it, however the longer I ignore one number the number will suddenly changed by one digit so even though I have it saved in my cell as spam with a different ringtone, once they change the number it then goes through. Its harassment, plain and simple. Wakes me up in the morning, wakes me up at night, disturbs me throughout the day. I filed a complain with the Do Not Call Registry (which you can do if you get a message from a recording, even if you are not currently on the list). The next step if it continues is contact my provider, but although they may block one number they can't block it if they change the number again. *sigh* Last step? Change my phone number I suppose.
