Does anyone know exactly who this is.  It's very annoying.

My daughter receives phone calls from 999-999-9999 all through the night. When she answers the phone, no one says anything. They call repeatedly, with nothing to say. It is so annoying! I signed this number up for DNC also.

this is so strange,i got a call today and it was just the same as everyone here has said the number 999-999-9999 i got it on my cell phone

Everyday for the past week I am getting calls from this number after 8:00pm every time.  I'm getting really angry with this and I'm hoping that putting my number on the DO NOT CALL registry will work.  If it doesn't I'm going to call my phone company and report it.  I'm sick of the calls!!!!

I got this missed call this morning, when I called it back, it reached a 911 operator - anyone else get this?

After researching this number, I have found out that it is usually some one soliciting you about something- campaign contributions, bill collectors, etc. They recently got the service and did not put in their name for caller ID either on purpose or inadvertently so the ID states 9999999999 until they change it. Don't answer, unless you are bored.

call from 1-999-999-9999  has called 4 times in 1 hour. STOP CALLING ME!!!!

I just received a call from 999-999-9999 on my cell phone, but I didn't pick it up.  I don't trust any of these numbers..........

This # has been calling me all day long, One day it called 5 times in a row not even 5 minutes apart! It was kind of scary! And then that night they called again after 9:00PM. This has been going on for over a week now and I don't know how to stop it, I just ignore it, my policy is if I don't know the # I don't answer, and if they don't leave a message it is not important enough to call back, but I sleep days and either I have to leave my phone on silent and miss important calls, or get woken up constantly! Any help?

I've received these calls a few times.....sick of this...I'm going to try the suggestion next time it happens

999-999-9999 and it was VERIZON! Shame on them for using these under handed practices!

i was on the computer listing to itunes when i got this call from 999-999-9999. I anwered it then it was playing the same song i was listing too.

I want to get rid of this.

I just got this call and just filed a complaint on since my number is on the do not call list

Just got the call and picked up. They knew my last name, asked if I was Mr. or Mrs. Soandso. I asked who was calling and they hung up. Phone call lasted 13 seconds.

I get a call once a month, on a Sunday and always at 1"47a.m. They do not leave a msg, only the caller id says 999-999-9999. Then on my VW bill under description, it says 0000003019 - whatever the hell that means....

Called several times in one day.  Annoying.  They did ask for our daughter, who is grown and gone for seven years.  Odd.

I got this on my home phone. I don't use blockbuster nor do I have an account with them. Neither did they leave a voice mail, personally there should be a law against this practice. If you're calling my phone I have the right to know who you are before I answer it or I'm not going to be answering it at all no matter how often you call.

Got a call from this number today (08/04/08), around 6:15 pm central time. The woman was asking for me, and so I (without disclosing it was me), asked for her name and the name of her company.  The woman replied "Well, I would have to speak to her.  It's a private, personal matter." I thought these people were supposed to disclose their name and the name of their business.  She refused to do so, so I refused to take her call.

never says anything but uses up cell minutes somene please stop these $$$holes.
