999-999-9999

Getting calls at my work place once or twice a week, usually after hours when I am not able to take the call. No message is left, and there is always a busy signal when I call back. Wonder who this is??

I get calls from this early in the morning or later at night and Sundays

It looks like it's Blockbuster calling to remind that the movies are due.

Blockbuster! i think it is kind if funny, this number...except that they call even when I return my movies.

It is a default setting on dialer software.  Most larger TM companies have good software that can have the caller ID be whaterver they want (depending on who they're calling for they can have that clients # be the caller ID).  

The company calling you hasn't gotten around to placing the caller ID number yet.

This was the most aggravating phone call at my place of business while dealing with customers. I wanted to scream this number came across my call id as Not Provided not once but 4 times on Tuesday 5/15/07 1st @ 12:06 pm , 2nd @ 12:43 pm , 3rd @2:29 pm 4th @ 2:37 pm.  SOMEBODY PLEASE DO SOMETHING this is just one day prior to finding this website. Happened other times before and I am even on the national DO NOT CALL LIST. so much for that.

I have recived this number twice and both times when i answered there was music playing, then it hung up....

Today was the second call from this 999-999-9999. I did pick up the phone and said hello, but there was no respons.

Hurricane relief plan number; area code '999' has been assigned by nanpa (nanpa.com). When there is no disaster, the number is unidentified; 'your call cannot be completed as dialed'. During hurricane Katrina, nanpa posted 999-999-9999 as a relief plan for all southerners in the USA. Caller ID spoofers also gain power to spoof their number using services listed below. Spoofers range from ordinary people, to companies--> well as organizations which prefer to screen their number.

got a call 6/20/07 at 6:36 PM on my cellphone we didnt answer and it was not the first time we got a call from that number

Called a few times, within the last few days. Kind of annoying, but I am not planning on answering, especially now that I know more than likely a hoax, crank, or collector.

Came at about 10:45 am on July 28th 2007 to Charlotte NC where I live. Answered and heard like a transfer click and hung up. If was telemarketer why not pitch me. Could it be dear ole "Uncle Sam"????

I got a call from 999-999-9999 today and on the caller id it say Oprah Winfrey lol

I have been getting calls ever since I booked my flight online. Figured they gave my number out. But twice now I have answered since they never left a message, and they just hang up on me? Very odd! When I try to call back it says that this "my call cannot be completed as dialed".

received a call from 999-999-9999 on 7/13/07 at 1:45 pm.  didn't answer, they didn't leave a message

Called 4 times starting at 2:49 am to 11:06 am on my company cell phone.  I did not answer, and they did not leave a message.

Got a call.....at 4:21 pm, 7/13/07.....tried to call back twice but nothing....wish i knew what that was about

I got the call on my cell phone on 07/19.2007 at 9:42 AM. I didnt answer thinkin they were gonna leave a message n never did. I called it back later n it said this call cannot be completed at this time. Thats when I looked it up. Turns out that (999) is an area code in Missouri.

Received a phone call today,they asked for a certian person in my house, and when I asked them what this was regarding they hung up.
