Got a call on my office line....didn't pickup since i screen all my calls.

i answered and found out it was chuck norris calling, hes looking for actors in his new movie. i said yes,but onlyif jessica beil was in it too, so icould dothe dirty sanchex with her

we recieved a call from this number and there was a voice message with a guy singing some strange, VERY CREEPY lyrics to an unknown song

have received two calls, on the same day, one I was not home to answer, no message, the other out of curiosity I picke up and got no response, I googled and got about.com, urban legands webpage, stupid!\
Another related idea, 999 is an emergency phone # in the UK...but that is 999 only! The guy on About.com, called the number back and it was Blockbuster, looking for someone who had not returned moovies...hmmmmmmmmm, don't think it is "UNclel SAm.....I wouldn't worry about it really, just don't answer the phone! It takes all kinds of weirdos don't it LOL>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>:)

I have gotten calls from 999-999-9999 for about a month now, any time of day or night at home, at work or while driving. The number shows up on my caller ID. But when I answer, there is no one there. It also is not showing up on my provider bill. I have called my cell phone provider and they said to document three calls and to call them when it happens on the third time. They will contact the tech department who will try to run a trace. The customer service rep seems to think it is a relay problem.

Probably some Halloween prank a little early.

I got a call from 999-999-9999 today like around 2:36 pm, I answered and they hang up on me. I called the number back and I got an answering machine that said: "Hi, please leave a short message and a representative will call you back shortly, thank you!"
I don't have a clue who this might be, I also dialed it without the area code and got the same message. Oh well!

Called today at 4:35 pm, I didn't answer, they didn't leave message.

Received call on Wed Oct 3 at 8:00PM  When I picked up(my mistake), a female voice started pitching something that would give me 300 dollars in gifts and I hung up as she was talking fast and furiously.  Another call on Thursday Oct 4 at 8: 15 AM did not pick up and they left no message

Have been receiving these for several weeks now on my home phone, the last one October 5 at 6:00PM. Phone company cannot trace the calls. Answered twice and was told it was a "marketing survey". When I responded by telling him, then her, to remove me from the list, each hung up on me. I am still getting the calls almost every day now but not answering the phone when I see the caller ID#. Will they ever give up?

MORE LIKE A REMINDER TELLING YOU THAT YOUR MOVIES ARE 6 WEEKS LATE......AND STEALING THEM IS NOT AN OPTION....

Received a call from 999-999-9999 at 10:57am PDT 10/17/2007. I didn't pick up  and they didn't leave a message.

They called and asked if I was a certain person. I said yes and then they hung up.

I am the DNC registry too. and I still get this what a much shlt!!!

Received a call from this number - it was the office for the campaign for Gavin Newsome for Mayor of San Francisco.

I am receiving a call from this number at least twice weekly. No one ever on end of line. Could this be Bell Canada perhaps testing my line for some strange reason? I live in Ontario, Canada and i have been unable to find any sunch number on reverse searches.

I have gotten two calls so far this week from 999-999-9999 -- if it really is Blockbuster -- good luck to them because I have NEVER rented a movie from them so guess I can't be over due -- so why are they calling me???
