A donation solicitation piece of mail I received had the address for contributions at 6650 W. State St. Ste. D PMB 266 WAUTATOSA, 53213

The previous message I posted with the return address prompted me to check the map. It happens to be nothing more than a mailbox at a UPS Store

Big Scam according to our chief of police, he suggests asking how much is given to your local police dept, and then hang up.

Could you please also post in the correct number threads so people searching for those numbers will benefit from your experience? Thanks.

My Mom keeps getting these calls also. They sent us a pledge reminder payment coupon with the return address 6650 W. State St. Ste. D PMB 266 Wauwatosa, WI 53213-2827. Hope this helps in your research. Thank you!

Are you sure it was the "Police Officers Support Association" and not one of the other dubious police "charities"? They tend to use names that sound similar.

Put the address in Google Maps and you find that "Suite D" is a UPS Store in a strip mall.  UPS Stores are popular with scammers since the stores rent mail boxes to practically anybody and it gives the impression that you are dealing with a legitimate business.  PMB stands for "Private Mail Box" and is not the same as a "Post Office Box".
I would suggest that you not make any donation; but rather shred and trash the envelope and coupon or turn it over to your local Post Master for investigation into a possible fraud scheme.

I also got a phone call and requested information be mailed to me. My letter says to mail my check to 1314 1st St # 324, Milwaukee WI. Another UPS store.

Is the letter specifically for the "Police Officers Support Association" (that exact wording)?

They are using a new number now. It is ,1-8006912290. I sent a check one time but no more. They tried to high pressure me and make me feel like I was doing good. I have a reminder from them about my promised check but I guess I will have liked to them because I am not sending it. I hate being taken.
