To anyone who read my interpretation of the law on companies calling you from whom u had purchased from before, plz note that I was wrong and they can no longer use thus excuse as a free pass to call u. Thank you for the update to tamianth. The new laws went into effect late in 2013.

I think we have some wonderful registered members here who REALLY care. It takes time and effort to do research. They do it voluntarily. Thank you thank you for all you do. I would love to meet you when you are ready and convey my thanks. You have protected the consumers from getting scammed , no small feat. I admire you a lot. When I see you I will give you a big hug :-) let me know if you are ready yet for a HUG ?!?!?!

Whenever I get calls like that I say I don't own a computer sorry or if someone asks me if I'm over 18 I say no sorry I'm only 17 then they persist to ask is anyone else over the age of 18 there just say no both of those usually work great for me

Do they really care if you are over 18 or not as long as you have access to a credit card? Who is going to check what age the person is who gave you the numbers as long as they can read or speak. I mean seriously?

Yes I'm on the DNC list - both land line and cell. I make it a regular practice to go back through my most recent call from unsolicited numbers and photograph each call. Since my CID only shows the last 50 calls, I keep a spreadsheet record of the number that called, the date & the time of each call. I intend to build a solid case for the FCC to take seriously. More people should do this. These callers need to be stopped.

Cancer center always ask money every month. We donate to the hospital.  We avoid phone and P.O box donations due to no guarantee of appropriate use of money and really you really not sure who is on the other side of who is calling. Do not donate over the phone or to P.o box addresses   Just donate to your local area where you know what the donated money is really used for like churches or hospitals
