Card Services Scam

So I guess that the hydra's head has grown back, in multiplicity.  Not a surprise, since we are still looking up the phone number.

Keep filing those complaints.  I am.

This is just like the debt collection racket.  Douglas Burgess did the same thing when the NY AG shut him down way back when.  Again, this is not a surprise.

Who do you call to report these tiresome calls?  If I happen to answer I press one and leave the phone off the hook.  Pressing 3 to opt out does not work.  What next?

People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office and also file with:

The calls are being made from outside the US however most of the call centers (where you actually talk to someone after pressing 1) are in the US and the companies making the money from the scam are owned by people in the US.

Pressing "3" to opt out actually opts you in; they now know you're a live number.    A call blocking device or software is the only answer.   They tend to call from a number of area codes, mostly the northwest, and I just block any area code they use.   Works pretty well.  Calling the cops or filing complaints won't have much impact.  They are operating totally illegally and various law enforcement organizations have tried to stop them, but to little effect.

I LOVE IT! :-) I have said similar things - diatribes that wouldmake Larry Flynt blush. Even got into a pissing contest with some bimbette who simply wouldn't quit. Have a friend who, when one of these leeches calls, picks up the phone and, in a low n' slow Barry White voice, says, "What are you wearing, baby..?" They can't hang that phone up faster - works like a charm.

Lately there has been a lot of information about AWD, LLC from Phoenix being one of the major scammers that have charged thousands of dollars on peoples credit cards without performing any services.
My question is if anyone knows if this is "Americans With Disabilities" (a known fraud outfit) from Phoenix or "Ambrosia Web Design" also out of Phoenix. I don't believe these companies are linked but that is why I am asking.

This is one of the many phone #'s I've had call about "lowering my interest" on my credit cards.  Is there any way to stop them?  I don't know why the FCC can't do something about them.  They are unsolicited calls and they are trying to sell something.  I'm on the no call registry and these calls come at least 4 times a week and I'm SICK of them!!!

There is bound to be more than one bunch of scammers pulling this one.

A part of the Card Services/Home Security etc crap is run by scammers hired in South East Asia as well. Their accents makes me believe they are Asian. Anyways this bull crap has been going on for a long time and they should all get shut down one by one.

Chris Ambrosia is the [***] behind these Card Services scam calls. I must get 15 calls a week from these idiots, the more I tell them to stop calling, the more they call, sometimes they call back and threaten me. These calls must stop. From what I understand the FTC went after this Chris Ambrosia or Mesa Arizona, but these calls keep going on.....

The ones who set this scam up overseas should be locked up for a long time. They are responsible for outsourcing and call center software/hardware, VOIP, etc to criminals. Now the criminals are using what their masters gave them and they turned themselves into independent scammers, WONDERFUL.

But I'll tell ya, some of them still operate under the orders of their masters who are living in other countries or who knows they might be right here in the U.S. Anyways screw them all. They are as cowardly as their masters.
