- TormentingTelemarketers| 4 repliesI've gotten calls from them, too. They used to have an "F" with the BBB, but it seems they have tried to clean that up. They still have a lot of complaints, several of them are related to their telemarketing practices. And they respond thusly:
"This is certainly not how we train and expect our employees to behave, we have strict policies and procedures in place and I am terribly sorry that your request to be added to the Do Not Call list was not honored when initially requested. "
" It is certainly not how we train and expect our employees to behave. ... Rest assured, your contact information has been removed from the system and placed on our Do Not Call list, there will be absolutely no further contact."
"This is certainly not how we train and expect our employees to behave, we have strict policies and procedures in place and I am terribly sorry that your request to be added to the Do Not Call list was not honored when initially requested. "
"Rest assured your contact information has been removed from the system and added to our very carefully maintained Do Not Call List."
"I have also added your phone number to our Do Not Call list, which is carefully maintained, there will be no further communication." - Kellie replies to TormentingTelemarketersHaha, really funny! :)
- BigA replies to TormentingTelemarketers| 1 replyI guess I am a bit confused. Are they not supposed to scrub the list BEFORE they make the phone calls? Those replies are already after the fact that they violated the law again!
- TormentingTelemarketers replies to BigAThe calls are to a business, so the Federal DNC doesn't apply (unfortunately), so it's their internal DNC. The calls I've gotten have been live calls and not robocalls.
But given the complaints, it makes me wonder about their use of the word "carefully". Show image ▶
