- April replies to Ann Bohnyeah lots of people keep reporting them. but yet they are still out there harassing people. They know that since they are out of the United States they can get away with it. Unless their government does something to them it will not stop unless they drop off the face of the earth. Unfortunately even then some [***] and/or [***] will talk their place and continue the terrorism.

- AprilSuggestion: Keep in mind we all get those "Nigerian Scam" Emails. That prince that wants to give us money or we have won that millions of dollars lottery? Well wouldnt it be nice if the other scammers were interested instead of us? Lets all play a game called "Flooding the scammers with the scammers info" Reply to their messages not with your info but you are so interested and excited but use the indian scammers information. Maybe if we flood them so much they will not have time to scam some innocent victim.

- being harassed too| 3 replies(714) 276-6094
Heavy Indian accent. Can't pronounce even the simplest of names. Claims to be an attorney (I could hear lots of typing and other people in the background). Said that my social security was being investigated (gave the last 4 #s of my SSN), as he put it "here in California". I don't even live or do business with anyone in California. Said that it was a serious matter - & that if I did not address the matter, there would be problems. I hung up (this was at work). He called back 2 times....screaming at the receptionist & demanding to speak with my supervisor. Said that his name was "Mr Wright" (when speaking with receptionist) - & "Mark Hamilton" when speaking with me.
Called my cell phone, also. Left 2 very scripted messages.....talking about having my "attorney of record" call him....."if you don't call me, there will be problems...good luck...have a blessed day". Said that his name was "Mr Wright" on the messages. Also called my cell 5 more times (in 2 minutes) that same day. I picked up the receiver - & then hung up.
He will ask you to verify your FULL name. don't give him ANY info - OR MAKE SOMETHING UP (MAYBE THAT WILL THROW HIM OFF). He will ask you to verify your SSN. DON'T BE STUPID!!! DON'T GIVE THIS CLOWN ANY INFO WHATSOEVER. - LMFAO (Google it, Einstein) replies to Neil JohnsonHey, "Neil Johnson",
Every heard of "Hooked on Phonics"? My 3rd grader has better grammar than you. Grammar.....Google it, [***]. HAHAHAHA You are pathetic. We intelligent AMERICANS hear that ridiculous accent & we LAUGH!. You're obviously too freaking ignorant to be a REAL man & get a REAL job. What's the matter? Did your mommy sexually abuse you when you were a little boy? I bet you can't even satisfy a women with that flacid little wee-wee (again...Google it) of yours. You are a loser. I am a winner. Get used to it. - LOVING your suggestions! replies to 2Creative Not 2 Get EvenI'm going to try the low growly devilish voice...that sounds like fun......or buy an airhorn (can't use that at work, tho).
- April replies to annoyedScammers. Do not verify information, do not give in to them on any of their threats. Do not give them any money. they run multiple
scams including
Claiming to be law firms
Claiming to be debt collectors
Claiming to be a loan lender
Claiming you are receiving a grant
Claiming they are Tech support and you have viruses on your computer
Claiming you are being sued for fraudulent activities and that they are government officials or police.
and many others..
They will have multiple numbers due to SPOOFING their numbers. Some of the numbers might even be the victims numbers they are
stealing. They use india cell phones linked to United States numbers, magic jack, skype, google talk, etc.. to look like they are
in the United States. Even though they got our information sold to them and hacked from the United States, the callers themselves
are not part of the US. This is why they are hard to trace and our laws do not pertain to them. - CeyHere are the numbers that harass me:
646-843-625
916-234-434520
975-134-3977
713-370-1109
623-443-4520
508-623-0842
503-457-1033
203-717-4003
Most of the time the name used is Jason Green or Charles and a last name my ears can't decipher.
All of these numbers call my cell phone, and sometimes a phone that doesn't even belong to me at work. I have entered them as they appear on my caller id even though some of those numbers aren't even possible. I have just blocked my phone allowing only incoming calls from my contact list and am hoping that once they call a few times and hear the message stating I am no longer accepting their calls, that they will give up. I have also filed a complaint at the IC3 website (https://complaint.ic3.gov/ctf.aspx). It is very annoying though and I agree it most likely came from a data breach. I have received at least 3 or 4 letters within the last year stating my data that was stored by companies I had previously done business with may have been compromised. Their solution is to enroll me in a credit watch program for 3 years. I think they should be forced to pay customers who now have to deal with this sort of harassment on a daily basis, as I never had these issues prior to being notified about the possible information breach. There is also a great episode of American Greed which addresses the issue of hackers and how they are able to infiltrate the servers of major corporations stealing millions of credit and debit card numbers, along with personal info. I watched this episode last night, and thought about how I'm sure that is related to these phone calls so many of us are receiving.
