Call from "Unknown Name;" "Private Number."

Same. My phone is spammed with private number in my recent calls in my phonebook. I tried calling back but it won't let me so I screenshotted it and shared it with a group on friends on skype. One of my friends was on at the time and she said she got a private number call too.

How do a call this person back and figure out who it is?

The ones who do not call are the process servers who deliver court documents.
"Legal papers" is a generic phrase. Lawyers mail "legal papers" all the time. In large cities, private courier services are use to deliver "time sensitive" "legal papers" between various businesses because they are faster than other delivery services.
"Edge City" is a comic strip about a delivery service that uses bicycle riders.

THAT would be great if we had that ability. I haven't found anything as yet, outside of law enforcement.

This girl that was bullying my cousin somehow got my number and she lives in a state that i know no one in and my cousin didn't tell her but she keeps calling me with the "Unknown" number, how would I get her number?? It's getting really annoying, she calls me at school and etc..

Your best bet is probably to contact your cell phone provider and ask them to block the calls.  I'd suggest getting one of the many free call blocker apps, but am not sure if they block unknown numbers.

Do you not realise that the volume is not transfered through the phone?... it would just sound like a very quiet air horn...

just got call from unknown claiming they are irs.

Scam! The IRS doesn't call you, they contact you via US Mail.

41 Called today at 2:51 PM. Caller ID says unknown. No message. Cannot Block as there is no phone number.... Scams are getting worse. Down side to technology...

Not sure if this has been covered here on 800Notes recently but unfortunately, according to both CBS and NBC News (which is where the following linked article is from), the IRS is going to start using private debt collectors once again--in spite of the fact they are well aware of the scam calls. I'm appalled but, sadly, not surprised.
