Had the same thing happen. This person replied to my ad on craigslist for a guitar. Asked if I still had it. Asked how long I've had it. So far pretty normal.... then they wrote, "Alright thanks, i will be mailing you overnight cashier Bank check for it and i also have a movers that will be coming over there for the pickup once you receive the check and you have the cash with you...Kindly get back to me with your full name to be written on the check and the deliver home address where the check will be delivered to....Thanks" - MikeHuntleton replies to JatoPlease post in the thread associated to the number, as mentioned already. Posting in the Forums will only wind up buried under newer more recent posts over time and lost. You took the time to post, so why bother if it won't be seen by those who it would do the most good?

Gill posted on 6 May 2013 and its highly doubtful he will ever see your reply. This Topic is obsolete, since the OP created in in 2012 and times have changed since then. All area codes get fraud scams / fake calls and texts calls with the ever increasing scammer, telemarketer, debt collector and other various unwanted callers spoof any number in any area code. - post pending moderator approval
