That's hilarious! Not the fact that you were lying in your previous post (which you were), but the fact that, as a *result* of this thread, 800notes.com *does* show up in a Google search for Williams Rush Associates! ...now. But it didn't when you first posted and you know it. This is what's known as an "own goal"!

Everything you describe is either impossible or illegal or both.

Anyone who gets a similar call should contact law enforcement immediately and file a complaint with their state's Attorney General – see Tamianth's post above.

yes, they have contacted me threatening the same thing. I did sign up for College network, but never started the materials, or took an exam. its been 6yrs, and here they come again, threatening, even called my elder parents threatening them, I don't know what to do. Its UN-nerving to get these calls. They threatened my current license, which I never got thru them or as a result of them. I went to a physical college, and I am paying that loan. This person tried to say she was working for me, to help me out, but was so nasty to me on the phone. I just hungup on her. How did you handle this?

I have had the same issues. They threatened my nursing license, which I did not get with College network, I went some where else, they threatened to sue me for fraud check charges, saying I would be arrested. Its crazy, they even contact my older parents upseting them, statin that if they did not wire transfer the money into their bank acct by noon the next day they would start procedings against me. I don't know what to do about this, has me really freaked out. The woman that call was SO rude, made up crazy stories, told my parent I told her to call them, I would never do that. I figured, hell take it to court, then I can have my say in it, and if found to owe it, I'd rather have proof it was paid by paying it thru court, than doing a wire-transfer, I would have NO proof it was paid!! they could come back saying I didn't paying it. Not sure what to do? what have you done since with this?

    >>>"I posted here because I googled the name Williams Rush"

You, sir, are a liar. There no links to 800notes.com in the first 20 pages of Google results from that search.

We all know how and why you came to this web site.

It boggles my mind sometimes how stupid these shills can be when they make claims like this. It's a simple matter to run a Google search and verify that it's a lie in a matter of minutes.<<<

Listing #5 on Page 1 of Google.  Thread from 06/2012
    You owe someone an apology.

You owe your first grade teacher an apology for failing to pick up any reading comprehension. As noted in the post a few lines up – which you obviously didn't read or understand – the Google result was not as you describe at the time I made that post. This thread, though it began in June 2012, has climbed the Google results only recently *because* of the recent flurry of activity.

Now this warning to the world does indeed enjoy prominence in Google's search results. Congratulations, you've scored an own goal!

Notice that this thread is about:
    • Collection agents threatening to have a nursing license revoked over debt
    • Collection agents threatening to have a driver's license over debt
    • Collection agents threatening to have wages garnished over student loan debt
    • Criminal charges (theft) being filed over failure to pay computer /TV rental fee

...yet help_me/dreko/bobbie is obsessed with the minor issue of what kind of Google ranking this thread had at what date.

I wonder who might have any motivation for derailing the conversation is such a way?

I had this very same thing happen to me as of yesterday! I was under impression it wasn't a school loan through that credit union rather than a personal debt which also was filed in my Ch 7 bankruptcy. they demanded one of 3 options of payments which all were 10,000 and above. They offered me this at 1230 pm sent me the email lover an hour later and expected me to have this payment by 3pm. My personal attorney contacted this attorney who refused to email the documents to him. They made several threats to me as well as jail time suspending my license and so forth. Has anyone else dealt with this and what was the outcome?

The email they sent included all my forms where I applied along with the check and the school transcripts. All looks legit but why would one wait 6 years and never try to contact anyone to collect on it... The lady was flat out rude to the attorney and myself and refused to release any information to them. Very odd!
