Nope. There is an entire industry of well-behaved telemarketers that adhere to the dictates of the Do Not Call registry. If you're on the DNC registry, you'll rarely, if ever, get calls from them.

I registered my number about 3 months ago. I was getting a call about once a week. Now, in the last month, it has increased to two or three calls every day.
Of course you have absolute proof that it is because you registered? You said "about"? That means you have no records of calls to prove that? Have you factored in that there are more scam calls being made everyday? Have you factored in that all your information, including your phone number is out there on the internet and social media?
That is a lot of calls, but probably not related to the DNC. Do you keep a call log? That is a good way to find patterns to figure out how your number is getting all this action. Answering and returning calls will get you more and more calls. You can improve your privacy by being selective about who gets your phone number, the call log and by ignore and selective blocking. Takes some patience, but it is possible.
