Yes it is a scam. Don't pay them. They've been calling me since 2009. Hold firm, they will call but they cannot do a thing to you. DO NOT PAY THEM

3 calls in 3 days. These people or on my last nerve. I'm fixing to go off on somebody. You can barely even hear the idiot over the noise and then he can't even speak well.  THEY WILL GET NOTHING FROM ME, NOT ONE RED CENT.

I have been receiving calls at work from 4696756076 . The person claims to be a Justin Cooper calling abt a unpaid payday loan from 08. Justin proceeds to tell me that crinimal charges are bringing brought against me for a unpaid payday loan. I tell him I havent took one out through extra cash advance. He claims they have all my info. Then he proceeds to tell me I can talk to the manager Jeff . Jeff gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me if i dont cooperate then my file will be sent to the court house and charges will be made. I asked how to resolve this matter because i've never been in any trouble he proceeds to tell me I can send 500 dollars and it will all stop. Is this a scam? I havent sent anything yet. I would appreciate any feed back. Thanks

I got a call the other day from a man from what sounded like Indian descent and they got my information from an application from me inquiring about a loan from payday or money mutual. I never got the loan and they was yelling saying I committed fraud.
They had my bank account information, my address my information about everything personal. He was yelling at me he asked me did I know what this matter was about I said NO! I said I am a law abiding citizen and a Christian woman that dont do bad things. then he yelled saying the company will forgive the charges if i sent them money! I yelled and said I inquired about a loan! I didnt get a loan to be committing any crimes. He said I was not cooperating and He was going to tell the company who he doesnt say a name of a company by the way will be pressing 3 felonies against me and that he is good he isnt me from my jail time Im going to get.
The idiots called me all day long and each voicemail sounded like the same guy saying the same script and the next calls He forgot they even called me and and spoke to me. Watch out for this # 425-998-2546 THESE ARE SCAMMERS DONT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO THESE SCAMMERS!

Jeff Smith called and said I had three lawsuits against my name and social secuirty number.  Of course it's an American name with a thick middle east/Indian accent.  This is part of a payday loan scam that has been going on for years.  Don't give these people information don't give them money just tell them to f off and die.  They cannot do a thing to you.

These people are Scam artists. They will say they are attorneys with Brown Andrews and Scott, saying you owe them money and if you don't pay you will go to jail. Do as I did and please call federal trade commission and also your local attorney general state consumer. Don't pay them any money!!!! I called the bar association of New York and they aren't attorneys. They aren't even a collection agency. As I understand they are over seas and getting people like us to pay them for debts we think we owe. They will contact your family, you and your job. Know that these people can't do anything other then to harass you  but please put a fraud alert on your credit. the numbers they call off are as follows 716-681-2744   716-748-6241  716-748-6237  716-748-6249

I received a call from someone who identified himself as Kurt Wagner at 760-624-8107 indcating that he was from Shawn Khorrami Law Office.  He accused me of writing a bad check (which was false) and that he was going to take me to court.  I told him that if he was from a ligitimate law firm then he should know that he should not be calling at my place of employment.  Whereupon Mr. Wagner said that he would take it to the next level and wanted my manager's name and number.  Wow!  I can't believe the creative ways they are scamming honest people.

I filed a complaint with the attorney generals office and the ftc who knows if that will help or not.
They just called again im ready to scream! the ftc said to just hang up on them
