- Becky replies to ShannonDid the faxes originate in the USA? Is a US-based debt collector invovled? If so, find yourself an attorney well-versed in the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act and follow his/her advice - perhaps the $ from the debt collector can be used to pay off the debt. After all turnabout's fair play.
- Becky replies to Eric from San JoseA pattern develops. In April 2011, attorney [sic!!] Mark Smith gave me the false address of ____ Chula Vista Avenue, Victorville, CA. For those w/o maps, Victorville is about 125+ miles N/NE of Chula Vista, on I-15, in the high desert. I-15 goes to Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Did you call him on his fake address?
- Shannon| 1 replyI am getting the same calls and honestly I AM SO TIRED OF IT! I borrowed the money in a medical emergency but I refuse to pay it back to these people that harass , threaten me, have no morals and will say just about anything to INCLUDE giving my son a web address to a porn site and said he would find me there on it that I owed them for sex!! YES, believe it. They call my work, send over faxes to verify my wages, threaten to serve me at work, and more ... I laugh at them now, they can serve me all they want, I am not paying anyone who thinks they can treat anyone this way and go ahead and take me to court, I log all calls and I am sure NO Judge will agree to their tactics. I blocked ALL transactions from my account, kind of a pain in the butt, but safer and their is a fraud alert on my account. I am in the process of contacting the ORIGINAL LENDER and I will pay THEM what I owe just to get this mess cleaned up but I have reported these people to the Texas AG, FBI Fraud Division and FCA. At this point they are unstoppable but they can only scare you if you let them, they are empty threats. Good Luck! I mess with them now, I was always taught if you can't win, play along :) My Lenders will get the pay off. but THEY will get the pay off, not these fly by night collection places.

- carol replies to JuliaI got a call yesterday from 910-300-7196, I didn't recognize it so I answered it anyway. A man with a heavy indian accent told me he was attorney roger smith from morgan law offices. He said I had a payday loan that I did not pay back. When I told him that I did not have any kind of loan like that, he told me that I did, and I would be facing a lawsuit. I told him to send me some information about the suit and he told me he could not do that, but I could pay with my debit or credit card. I told him that I had no such debt and hung up on him. He called me cell phone back and left a voicemail. That voicemail told me to enjoy this last weekend with my family, as it would be my last one, and that I would be arrested by Thursday, June 23rd. He also told me that I hung up in his face, and that this freedom would be my last. I could not believe it. I let my husband listen and he tried to call the place from his work cell and personal cell and it would not go through. It said the number wasnt in service.
- dustypatti got a call from John Davis and played along with it and he e-mailed me a form that he made up using think free office which is a mobile phone app. He calls me from a +3052606689. He said i was going to be arrested yesterday so i called him back at 5 and asked him why they havent came and arrested me and my employer. He said i would be picked up monday. What a douche. i wish i could meet this guy in person
- knoxzman replies to MonteiaEvery few months or so I'll get one of their messages and they always end the same:
"If I don't hear from you or your attorney of record, all I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you!"
I always call them back, let them pull my account up, and then ask the rep if f-ing his mother would clear the debt. They usually start laughing and tell me they'll bang my mother or sister and no legit company would ever engage in such conversation. Once I do this they apparently take me off their list as I never hear from the same group again. I know it sounds crude but these scum bags deserve no respect at all.. - let's be strongWhen they call I play GOD BLESS AMERICA, not all calls I do not answer the calls and delete all msgs a waste of there time. I have a few off the numbers blocked on my cell and in the process of writting Wash DC embassy's and file a formal complaint. India, Pakastain and State Dept.
- philideeJosie Melon called me my job and my friends said i was involved in fraud had my ss# said the police would come and get me at my job called my friend a liar. She gave no company name but i have a phone number 17608881204 but now the phone is not in service anymore. I am going to see the local police and also on Monday calling NY Attorney General and filing a complaint about these phone calls they have to stop. It is scary how scammers are out there.

- Unempoyed and Not Having It replies to JuliaI responded very negative to the sing songed indian who last threatened me with legal action from the "INTERNET CRIME INVESTIGATION" bureau or whatever the scat loving cretin was calling himself today having called all former employers and references which I find very angry making. The numbers that the VOIP protocol provider which I think is TELEKENEX are 724-909-1499 724-909-1455 415-287-1317. The calls are spoofed numbers that seem to originate either in the US or outside but are probably VOIP based, meaning that the only way to track them would be to get the bogus front shell dummy corporation name to trace back to a VOIP provider, preferably a small company trying to make it that just wants the business and doesn't have the checking ability.
This happened when I ran numerous searches on different corporation names. So the idea is to have the shell, open an account with a VOIP provider, use the information from the payday loan spoof site or credit card site to snag the American dupe then pay scat eating piss drinking foreigners to harass the people they have on file. If the scat loving piss drinking foreigners get to snag a few terrified Americans to pay up the money named then it's all a good days work. Further quite a few that may have had legal
problems in the past may do so in order to avoid what they think is a jail term.
Considering that cops are tasering old ladies nowdays and the TSA is groping any and all privates I would suspect that this is true.
This probably works some of the time as the folks getting called are low income Americans and anybody who hasn't been living under a rock for the last thirty years knows that we the people with out the right amount of money or connections are toast and don't have any rights except the right to be royally screwed. Sad that some dim bulbs even think that law enforcement would follow up on this when they would only protect wealthy rich suckers who got creamed by Madoff.
Since Geithner is running scams on the US money supply I'll bet that the Indian Middle Easterners or take your pick foreigners doing these things figure Americans have it coming to them in a big way.
So it's the wild, wild west now and their are different sets of laws for different sets of people. The USA is circling the drain in my humble opinion. If you think Obama is helping or that voting even would make a diff well I have some wonderful beach property to seel you in IOWA. - Eric from San Jose| 1 replyThey just called again today - 661-450-8274. This clown was INDIAN and VERY aggressive, believing that if he game me information about me he could intimidate me into paying him.
The name of the firm was Patrick and Associates, and the address was 1309 Chula Vista Ave, Irvine, CA. This address does NOT exist.
