last 2 days I get a call from 0000000000. no message. How do I stop this, and who is it?

been on the donotcall.gov for as long as it has been available, even updated every couple years and STILL get these ridiculous bogus calls - but thanks for the suggestion

If the FBI can find me and know me,why can't they nail this number to the wall or do they care or does anybody care for that matter of fact ?

Scammers.  I never answer numbers I do not recognize. I hook up to fax machine and/or block number.  Any time I see the caller ID read, "unavailable, number not found, etc., I post this on google as Scammers.  That is what they are.  Dont get taken in or let courisity get the better of you. c

They called my home line again yesterday, June 19th - their call was blocked.  My new Panasonic (blocks 250 numbers) does not even ring when a blocked call comes in.  I just found that they had called again this morning.

Received a call on my "BOOST" cell phone.  I did not answer phone because the number was

my husband gets this number all the time. we are on the do not call list and they still keep calling.

Got a call from '10000000000'. It was an automated call that mentiond they are calling from 'Legal Child Services' and that they are going to visit us in 24 to 48hrs!! I got instantaneously suspicious as the 'Child Services' is not going to have computerised calling... I went to my leasing office (as I am new to Georgia) and they were kind enough to provide me with the child-care office address and numbers. I tried calling the child-care services but they were not helpful. I directly went to the local county child-care office and they clarified that they do not do computerised calling and nor were they aware of which child-care office does computerised calling. They mentioned it could be a tele-marketing call or a crank call...
Long story short... this number should be allowed to go to voicemail and then treated as required.

Daily, multiple calls a day.  It's a call center in another country.  Obnoxious.

I used to receive a couple calls a week from this 000-000-000 number.  The last one I answered "Homeland Security, Fraud Unit" after a few seconds a scared voice says "Please excuse the call I must have dialed the wrong number."

Got a call from 000-000-0000 obviously not a real number but answered to see who it was.  Lady with heavy middle eastern or indian accent said she was calling to tell me about US. Government grants that don't need to be paid back.  Wanted to know if I had any questions so I asked her why someone who is obviously NOT American calling me to tell me about my governments grants.  By the way, no grants need to be paid back, ever!

Yesss, he told me I won a $100. Walmart card and some other stuff, I never applied for this. He is relentless and ATT can't block the number.

I'm also getting these calls about 10 time a day, it started about a week or so ago..

As if they couldn't hear me. I'm tired of all these calls, seeing as i'm only 16, and I have my phone during school, I don't want to be getting it tooken away because someone I don't know calls me frequently, does anyone have an explanation for these calls? Who is it?

the "DO NOT CALL list doesn't help. It was created to establish more govt office space for campaign friends of the politicians.

Got a call from this number at 2:30 a.m.   It woke me up but I did not answer it.  Since this is my business cell phone I am going to inquire about getting it blocked.  Can't afford to be distracted this way.

This is an identity theft scam. They first call you from an unknown number or 000-000-0000. After the 3rd call, I told them I had them traced and this was a scam. I supposedly won a $7000 grant through the US Government Grants Dept and only 1500 people in NY were selected. They want you to call another number, 202-407-9093. I think when you do, something gets installed on your phone line. I reported this to the FTC and my phone company. I told them to watch for bogus charges and any international phone calling from my line. When I researched the number they told me to call, it came back that when you get through you need to pay $300 via Western Union. You supposedly get that fee back when you get the grant money. I told them, "Is that before or after you try to close my bank account?" They try to hide behind the secrecy. I had asked for an address to claim the monies. They won't give me one. When I called, the 202-407-9093 number rang twice then rang busy. Once I told them I had their phone number traced, they called right back from 410-999-1325. It rang, connected then said GOOD BYE. When I called 410-999-1325 back, which registered under Michigan Gas as the name on my caller ID, at 12:04 EST on 6/22/13, I got a voicemail with Brittany's name and the box was full. When these scams go down, they use other people's phone numbers or names to try to hide behind. In this case the number was exposed giving the Feds their ammunition. What makes this guy think that with his heavy Indian accent, I would believe his crock of crapt.

I told them they didn't know who they were dealing with. I only had arrested a ring of hackers which resulted in the largest identity theft case in US history! They will not get to me but I will get them. You don't mess with me.
