Even though my son and I are on the National Do Not Call Registry this number keeps calling.  I finally answered and no one was there.  Does anyone know a more effective way to end these annoying calls?

It's not funny getting these calls from that 000-000-0000 number and if the company that is doing does not have the balls to identify themselves then they don't deserve to be paid or if I got on their because I did a survey I don't appreciate them harassing me. I want them to stop and I too do not care about winning any cruise. LEAVE ME ALONE

I suggest you get a Rugby ll or newer model.  With Rugby ll you can block all calls from anyone but your list of contacts.  I haven't received one phone call or message from anyone not on my contact list.  What a relief!

I just got that number a few minutes ago, it made my phone line go crazy and the phones wouldn't stop ringing. When I tried to call back I got nothing.

You probably will continue to get such calls. The "trick" for them is to simply buy  a prep-aid phone, with as much time as they think they'll need. After all the time is used up just trash it. No traces. The government probably could trace it, but not in the short time they are using it --- which may be ??? weeks, months?

Best thing is to just let it ring through and let your voice mail hear the silence.

i've been calls from 000-000-0000. usually I don't answer, but twice I did and heard nothing so I hung up.

Today I got a call and accidentally answered. Some guy wanted to know if I am--me-- regarding a business matter. I asked who he was and the company name. I didn't get his name but he said the company is CCB. he wouldn't tell me what CCB stands for, but I wasn't answering any of his questionss either. I asked what business matter and he wouldn't answer that either. He hung up rather than state plainly what this is all about.

I have noticed a new, disturbing trend with the “all zero” calls: Cox Digital Telephone’s call blocking feature no longer works against it. I can add 000-000-0000 to the “block list”, but I still get several calls a day that ring right through. Note: The call block works on everything else. Apparently this caller has managed to “trick” the switch into believing the calling number is “unavailable”, but still have it display the zeros on the caller-id.

Report a phone call from 000-000-0000:

The company that called you.
