I just received that same call just seconds ago.
The number on caller ID was 000-000-0000
when my daughter answered hello three
times; a recording come on and said goodbye
and hung up.

Got a call from this number. Picked up as I though someone was just returning a call that I just made and number was locked. Automated message: "We regret to inform you that your Chase master card has been locked. Please press zero now to speak to our security department." Yeah.. I don't even think Chase offers master cards... Terrible spam.

Received a call at 2:25 AM! from 0000000000 left a voice mail about Prepaid MC Locked for suspicious activity.  I do not have that.  

Received a call from this number 000 000 0000, i heard a person breathing heavily and the background sounds like they are in a busy place noisy and sound like Indian talking on the background. I said hello 4 times no answer still so i hang up. then 5 min. later my cell ring again same number i say hello and an IDIOT INDIAN accent answer and said this is IRS officer you have to answer few question. And i saig ok. First question he ask what is my name i reply and said if you are you think you are from IRS you should know my name, why are you asking me. He got upset and said what is your name. And i said i will give you my name if you give me your IRS ID number so i can trace you, and he hang up. Boy that IDIOT INDIAN accent really getting my nerve calling

Received a call from this number 000 000 0000 claiming my loan is approve. I said i did not recall applying a loan and he said oh sorry. he's got a very heavy accent

got a call from this number selling a drugs he said he has a cheaper price. I ask where he calling from what pharmacy and he said from Canada, then hang up

They called as chase bank secutity department. The said my chase debit card had ben locked. My card is a visa so i hung up. Do Not give them youre info it is a scam

you're right.   political and charitable calls are exempt from do not call lists.   the DNC has worked for me in that LEGITIMATE organizations that follow the law don't call me anymore.   Outside the political and charitable calls, the only other are spammers/phishers who are not following the law anyway, so I wouldn't see why they would bother to respect "the list".

I don't bother to report to the numbers anymore because the gov't won't take the time to actually track down these illegal shops.  They're too much of a moving target.  

the bottom line is that if someone dials your specific 10 digit number, your phone will ring.  Any or all of their source information may be fictitious, so all you can do is block them on your end.   Even still, they're a moving target anyway, so the next time the source number is different than what you've blocked.

problem is that the donotcall list is simply the honor system.   it's not a mechanism to prevent the call from being completed.   it does stop legitimate organizations that choose to follow the law.  it's all the phishers that most people on these forums are complaining about

Unknown caller 000 000 0000     I did not answer. No message was left.    What idiots answer to 000 000 0000  as iut is so obviously a scam.  Wise up America, if you don't recognise the number, don't answer the phone. It's that simple!!!!!!  These criminals do not recognise "Do not call.Gov" because they are calling from India and other far reaching countries. They know they are untouchable. We have to outsmart them, and let's face it, that should not be too hard. DON'T ANSWER THEIR CALLS.

Just got the call from 000-000-0000.  The automated message asked for my information from Chase Bank because my credit card had been reportedly "locked".  So I hung up and called Chase Bank. They said that "yes, this is a scam" and "glad you called us first".  So always...if you get a message from a person inquiring about your bank information, hang up and call your actual bank to make sure there is no funny business going on.

I got this call today... Just minutes after using my card... telling me my chase MasterCard debit card was locked. I don't have one of those so I called the bank via the number on the back of my checking card and they assured me my account was not locked and everything was fine and was glad I did my due diligence and reported it. Three hours later my husband got the same call. Both were to our cell phones. Scam still going.

Rite b4 I got the call my dad got it and before he got it my cousin got it then her friend got it and my aunt got it and my grandma got the call 20 minutes ago
My aunt answered the call and they said she owed them 100$
My dad said he herd it was a prank number and not to answer it

There is this stanhe call going to everyone if I was you I would not answer the phone very very phoney call 000-000-0000 going around area to area I live on the south side my mom is going to raise hell if she does not find out who it is I got the call Friday 2 times don't answer I heard a lady breathing and then say goodbye soon as I find out who it is I swear for good 😪😪😪💛😳💛

My husband and I got this call both at the same time on our cells, our numbers are one number apart in order so I'm assuming they are robo calls.... claimed that our prepaid card was locked and to press 1 - we do not have a prepaid card. Went to check all my accounts and all seem in order.
