- EstherGot a call from 000 000 0000 at 11.32 AM 9/23/2014. Caller ID listed private caller. I usually screen calls, but answered for the heck of it. Sometimes when I am in a mischievous mood I will answer just to play mind games with the poor deluded idiots on the other end. This time, a Foreign sounding voice, amidst a whole bunch of background noise asked, " May I speak to Esther." I just abruptly said "NO". He said "oh, sorry for bothering you.", and then I hung up.
These calls seem to come in waves. This last tow weeks there have not been so many calls. Some days we get 6 or 8 calls. Since I usually do screen all calls, I have reason to believe that most come from the same source and they use a different spoof number each time to mislead us on caller ID. They very seldom use the same number. There are only four times in the past several months that calls have come from any number they used before. The all zeros number has only been used twice to call us. My answering machine just has a generic message on it. I hope they soon get the REAL message.
Patience everyone, and may you all have a good day and learn to take your fun where you can get it.- Caller: Private Caller

- Teresa CymbalI keep receiving calls from this number. +0000000000 who are these people? and how do I stop them from this harassment?
- unknownWe receive calls from this number but I don't answer them. We have a land line. We also have a phone that announces the caller's number, which is very helpful.
- LMC RMScammers, spammers and LOSERS - that's who uses this "NUMBER" - hiding behind anonymous crud...

- MeghanI just want the calls to stop. I don't have diabetes.
- annoyed replies to 315erAgree completely. The DNC list does nothing. I no longer answer my phone.
- Spoofing should be a FelonyThese calls have nothing to do with the DNC or your providers. They are, as usual, spoofed.
Whether they are coming from a US Spamhydrant, or from some crime sh1thole like IN, RU,RO, etc, does not matter.
The point is, when someone spoofs a number, it is the same thing as showing up at your door wearing a mask.
Now, we KNOW what to do about that; it's easy. "Center of Mass".
In this case, do not answer, and if equipped hit the "BLOCK" button,.- Caller: In Hiding

- ArielleI got a call from a +000 000 0000 number a few weeks ago. I'm with AT&T, and I have an iPhone 5C. It was obviously a prank call because they called and said 'Hello. I am a talking martian'. I hung up at that. They called back again and said the same thing, so I said 'thank you for making my day' and hung up despite being quite annoyed, since I didn't want to let them know how angered I was. I haven't gotten any calls since then, I can't remember if I blocked the number or not...
My theory is that, just like making your number unknown, you can change it to all zeros.- Call type: Prank
- noël lieWho are these idiots I would like to know, nothing better to do I reckon. Never answer the phone, it always rings twice so I know it's rubbish of some sort. Doesn't bother me in the least, if it's anything important they will leave a message and if you are not interested in their crap just delete the call.
