Legit police dept, agencies, fop, sheriffs assoc. etc. no longer solicit by phone, only scammers or someone trying to defraud you out of money make these calls, legit orgs stopped using phone calls and get donations at local fundraisers , raffels, big jar on counter at the donut shop, concerts put on for free with all proceeds going to fop. etc.

The caller, Private caller ( displayed as ID on our phone ), it used no number, called us @ 10:29  A.M. 11.28.2015, almost daily for 3 days.Thanksgiving day. We opted not to answer " unwanted call" on the spot per FTC ( www.donotcall.gov.) suggestion.

So then, am I to presume the insulting comment above is that of an foreign author? If so, does that not cast me of one the fool? To wit - as I sit and ponder that very question here now.

Some may already cast me as just that, I profess, given what still seems to be a soft spot in my heart for you; even given your post June events. I guess that is because of everything prior.

it's 7:40 AM Something about Windows and my computer.

Called several times over the week end did not answer until today said it was Adam from the united states Treasury

Caller with extremely poor grasp of English babbled about some virus on my PC. Said he was with "me-kro-sopt".
Dunno any "me-kro-sopt".  And don't have a problem with my computer.

We opted not to answer " unwanted call" on the spot per FTC ( www.donotcall.gov.) suggestion. I decided to answer today, when the young man talked in English, I decided to use very limited Spanish. He doesn't understand , so he cut me off. Hope he doesn't call again just because we have a forein last name.

Now check the calendar. Today marks the second of the two consecutive Tuesdays that are deemed significant. Firstly, it was the big 2-4 celebration. Now, upon this day, is the global movement in re: acts of kindness et al in "Giving Tuesday".
