Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

- Zach replies to Pissed-In-IndianaI asked him what he was wearing and when he said nothing, I said HOT. Then asked if he was touching himself....
- IceI get calls from this number every week or so. This morning they called twice, the first time I did not answer, the second time I answered they asked for me by name, I asked her who she was, and she stated in broken English she was from the US Treasury. I asked her what she wanted, and she said "Nothing, go to hell" and hung up, I had a good laugh.
- ShereneThis number called me twice. I answered and they asked for my daughter. When I asked the Betty on the other line who was calling she hung up immediately. No legitimate company, or person needs to hide there number or name! As a person who has been scammed a few times, I always recognize a scammers when I see it! Do not be fooled, and never give out personal info over the phone! Make them prove to you who they are!!! They scammers really get desperate during the holiday season.
- TorsharpThis bogus # has to be the 800notes Champion! 249 pages of complaints. The caller(s) should quit while they wear the crown!
- eightisenoughI had logged onto amazon.com to check on an order. A pop up box came up which looked legit from Amazon saying that I had been selected to take a "30 survey". I answered the questions like: how many times do you log onto Amazon, how many times do you purchase from Amazon, things like that. Afterward I was offered some amazing deals. I typed in my name, address and phone number, but something in the back of my mind said not to purchase anything (I could have the merchandise free, just had to pay reduced shipping). Instead, I backed out of the pages and called Amazon. The customer service rep said that survey wasn't from them, even though I was logged unto my account with them. I than kept getting phone calls from 000-000-0000. After the 4th call in five minutes, I blocked the call. The 5th time they called, my phone blocked them. I then got a call a few minutes later from an unknown number. It went to voice mail, and I haven't heard from them----yet. Yikes!!!! DON'T TAKE THE AMAZON SURVEY!!!!!
- Sherriem12/16/15 15:56 PST Just now, tried to raise a response. Didn't answer phone since there is no actual number. After going to voice mail, no message, so obviously, some sort of scammer. Just refuse to answer this type of call, and can't return anything to a non-existent number.
- Caller: (000) 000-0000
- SherriemHow do we block this non-existent number?

- Lisa| 1 replyI have just got this call yesterday, but this person seems to be a very volatile and frustrated person, just seconds before I recieved the call I had had a very bad pain to my foot and I looked down at my phone and this number of all zeros was on my display, so I just started to pray until the strange pain, which I believe was this person wish is to take out his/her pain on someone else. Thanks for you help in this matter, from now on , I will list all the other numbers. Have a merry merry christmas! Lisa

- Sammi replies to PhyllisJust got a call from this number, I was able to block it on my Panasonic phone.
- Centurylink DSLWhenever I shut my CenturyLink DSL modem off for a few hours I start receiving calls from this number and several others. There's never anyone on the line if I answer it, but it sounds like a modem trying to connect. The sound is really low and I didn't catch it at first.
Are people scanning DSL lines looking for a line not in use, then hacking their way onto the network? If I leave the modem on I never receive any of these calls. Seems odd, guess just leave the modem on.
Centurylink DSL doesn't require a username or a password to get online.

I asked what company he works for he stated Technical Support! I told him he was a "[***]" and he could go "WHERE THE SUN DONT SHINE"!!!

- C. ChrisCalls four and five times a day. I never answer.
- TIt never ceases to amaze me how many people answer calls like this!! 000-000-0000 is NOT a number people! If you don't know the number don't answer it!! If it's that important they'll leave a message!! Start using the brain in your heads and learn to think for yourself!! Quit relying on other's to tell you what to do with your own phones. Look it up for yourself and figure it out!!
