Called claiming the government owed me money. I was like whatever and hung up lol

if you "troll" text them a bunch of "screw you's" would they get the text? i keep getting calls from the last one on this list. 202-000-1111

This same number called me once an said the same thing , an I needed to call back an speat to some one .I hung up also now I have gotten calls about one a day frome

This number called me saying they were the department of education with additional loans saying I'm supposed to get big money from the government. It's scary to me as I just filled out my fafsa at my school! I figured it might be the department of education because of I'm waiting for my fafsa to kick in so I answered and the stalker described my situation as if they were in the room with myself and my financial aid agent!  I didn't give out any information, however, this phone call made me think someone is indeed following me. I really wish the law would step in and do something. I don't like the feeling of people following me. Especially while I'm at school.

my husband got a call from this number saying they had 10,000 to give me  and he gave them my phone number, i knew immediately it was a scam. why can't they stop this?

I too received a call from  12020001111 and tell me they are from US Government that they released $9000.00 by calling other number 646-583-1186...The I ask what is the US Government address...they hung up... I a scam

Received a phone call about a 9000 dollar grant asked if this was a scam  the lady got pissed and hung up on me

I offered to let her perform specified but unspeakable acts on me instead, and she hung up!!! Just trying to be helpful...

We should all act verrry interested and string them along and ask very pertinent questions, and give them phony info and credit card numbers, and just see how long we can keep them on the line. They wanna waste my time? Two can play the lying game. I'm willing to bet 20 minutes!!

I got one too, but from the U. S. Treasury Dept. The caller had such a heavy accent or slurred speech that I couldn't understand her. I told her I couldn't and hung up. The real treasury department would call again.

THE NEXT TIME they call you, ask them what time it is. If they don't indicate day or night, ask "AM or PM"? With this information, we can track down the time zone and get an idea of where the caller is. Please post the time they called and the time they said it was.

You do realize that no one at 800 notes has nothing to with your caller, nor can 800 notes remove your number from the caller's database.  If your phone has bult in blocking abilities, you can block it yourself, buy a call blocking device, or see if your provider offers call blocking.

Female (sounded like Philippine accent)  caller claiming to be from "U.S. Government [unintelligible]" and that we had been selected to receive $9,000 which we would not have to pay back."  I stopped the caller and advised her that I knew this was a scam.  She ardently tried to claim that it was not.  I hung up.  The Caller ID showed, "NAME NOT FOUND" and there are no real telephone numbers with three zeroes (000-1111).

I just got a call from them, India Lady telling be Obama selected 1500 people to get money! I knew it was a scam. I told her the phone call was being recorded and I was tracking her location. I asked what country she was from and she said Washington D.C. sHE THEN ASKED ME IF i TRACKED HER LOCATION? I thought I would play along, told her I worked for the Government and what information did she need? She asked again what was her location I tracked? I told her I just tracked you and will see you soon! She hung up.

This 202-000-1111 called on 3-3-15 around 11:50 a.m., I picked up the phone and said hello, then it sounded like my call was transferred and it began ringing and that's when I hung up.  Definately another bogus call.  People who do this harassing practice need to be arrested.

I told this female person (I could hardly understand her with her thick accent.) that I don't do business over the phone. The Govt doesn't call. They send you a letter

I'm baffled as to what they're up to.
