Yes this is crazy I got a call from them a few minutes ago. at 213-213-1233.  Non speaking English and was hard to understand him.  I ask what was it called and he said loyalty grant. I told him okay and I will do research on it.  Wow...really what is wrong with people.

Call from 202 657 6093. Told me I approve for a grant of 7000 dollars but have to purchase a green dot card and put 300 dollars on it first. Once I do this call them back and give them the code on the back of the card and the money would be sent to me.  I told them to send the money and take 300 out of the 7000, he said it didn't work that way and when I questioned him why I had to send money to receive a grant he hung up.

Just got a call from this number. Man with accent telling me the IRS wants to send me $7,500. All they have is my phone number and I have to supply information. Thus, sounds like the IRS wants to send me money but: they don't have my name, don't have my address, etc.!!!??? Man is calling from a room full of people and lots of talking (probably other scammers busy trying to scam) and when I mention I can hardly understand him as there is too much background noise on his end, he says, "what noise, there is no noise here." We didn't get to what kind of information he wants to get from me as this is an obvious scam and I hung up. Tried to call back the number and it is a quick beeping noise sometimes and sometime a message the call cannot go through. BEWARE. I don't believe the IRS would operate this way and there is no money. SCAM alert!

Got a call from (874) 551-23 stating that I was getting a grant for about $9k. Knowing this was a scam I responded with "and how much money do I have to pay you in order to receive this money?" In which the the heavy accented woman says "Why would we make you pay for your money? All you have to do is verify your address." Knowing there's really not much they can do with my address I asked what address they had and sure as [***] it was my current one. She then was like "okay you should get a check by Monday. Bye" and was real quick to hang up. Lol

Yep, I got this call too, 202.381.2601, ESOL sounding lady.... etc etc etc The saddest thing is the thought crossed my mind that maybe it was legit because this Administration really does love to give money away. Then I hung up on her.

I received a call this morning from a woman at 202-621-0020 saying I was going to be awarded a $8,000 Personal Loyalty Grant from the government. She then had me call a different number to receive the $8,000 which was 206-317-1748. When I called that number they told me I wouldn't have to pay anything to receive the money that this call was being recorded by the government and that they didn't need my personal bank information all I had to do was go to my nearest convenient store which they said they could get that information for me where to pick up a Green Money Pac card. I told her why would I do that when you are going to ask for the information on the card and she proceeded to tell me that I would have to put at least $200 on the card and that they only information they needed was just the card number that they didn't need the pin or any other information on the card. I am not handing over $200 over to these people when I have rent and other bills to pay, hell no!!!

I got a phone call today about a 9000 dollar grant. It was a chinees lady saying she was going to western union me the money. Then they said I need to bring 210 dollars with me. The first number was blocked and and they told me to call a 202-738-1706 to verify my ID number. So watch out I didnt pay anything because I had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago.

Got an unknown number calling with a 9000 government grant.  Hard to understand accent of the man and woman second number to call was 253 216 8095

I got a call it woke me up so I was irritated. When the foreign sounding man said I was awarded $9000 gov grant. He asked if I wanted know why I was selected, I told him yes, but he had 30 seconds because I don't believe him. He hung up! I wished he had called later because I wanted to milk him for info and have some fun. I knew this was a scam!!!

I've received a called yesterday from unknown or a different number start with 202 or 646. They said they're calling from a government grant fk. They told me I had been selected a $9000 to pay for my education. I think everybody want that if they don't know that's was a SCAM.... I spend $850 for that and they still asking for another $750 for government taxes. That's a [***] stupid. I'll go to Washington DC and find out who's those ppl beat their ass. Fk

I received a call from this same number and they told me to call 202-599-0716 with this confirmation number! Claimed he worked for the government n that I was randomly selected for 9000 grant but first I had a security deposit of 200 I needed to send to them through money gram!

I just got a call from a Lucy who barely spoke English offering me $9,000.00 from a Loyalty Grant from the US Treasury for my paying my bills on time and not ever having filed for bankruptcy. I played along until she asked for my name which I politely refused to give her. She then offered me the phone number of the senior accountant in charge of "transacting" the money to me. His number is 202-738-1426. She encouraged me to call him as soon as we hung up. The phone call was listed on my cell as an unknown number.

I ben unemployed for 2month now i got a call from 203-123-2158 a woman with an accent she told me i won a reword from the government and told me to call646-666-9727 and then a guy told me i won $9000 for being a loyal citizen lol and gave me the options to have the money putt on my bank account or i can go to walmart,but it sounded so fake he told me to call him as soon as i get to the walmart and gave me a code wow the IRS NEED TO GO AFTER THESE PEOPLE AND GIVE US POOR FOLKS A [***] BREAK.
