called at 9:20 pm. i asked the lady WTF are you calling at 920. she apologized and hung up.

I received a text message from an unknown local number in my area code with this message: "Hi! 202-686-9742 is calling with a short, confidential public opinion survey.  We're NOT selling anything or asking for a donation & hope you can participate."  Yeah no.

creepy man asking to speak to a family member that does not live here when i told him, he said oh sorry I was given the wrong number and hung up.

We got a call from this number. Since we never pick up the receiver unless we know who is calling and we want to take the call, we allow callers to leave a message before we decide what to do. The caller said nothing and hung up after a few seconds.

Registering a number with any do-not-call registry will NOT help and asking the caller not to call again will NOT help either. Not picking up and saying nothing are the best thing to do, unless you have a blocking device on your teleph
one.

Call on business line.  CID lists "NATL RESEARCH".  Answered call "Marcus" from "Kaiser Foundation" requesting completion of survey for healthcare benefits. I declined.

CID NATIONAL RESEARCH. Let it to voicemail, message was dead air. If they call back they will be sent to office PBX DID hell.

No message. Possibly spoofed.
