I have not answered calls from this number many times.  Late Sunday night I answered.

She said she was doing research for Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and asked for me!  Our health insurance policy is in my husband's name!  Why was she asking for me?

She said she had a survey.  I told her I wasn't going to answer any questions.

Our private policy's premiums have gone up obscenely over the past three years.  We are older and I'm sure Careleast would like me in particular to drop dead.

This company does a variety of research surveys.      Check their website, they claim expertise in many areas.

They don't block their ID on the caller ID.

Caller asked to speak with a minor (child) when parent/guardian informed that the person they requested to speak with is a minor anyway reguarding political research. The caller I.D showed Washington D.C

I have google voice number....it lets me block numbers....and it gives them the "this number has been disconected speel from now on!

i have been getting calls from this number for couple a weeks now and decided to answer..they used my name but i said "she's not in"..the person sounded like a grandmother to me says she will call back tomorrow..i wanted to use the line from seinfeld "no how about u give me your number and i will call u back"....i think i will use it next time..

Thanks for posting the website info! I called the company and a guy answered immediately and apologized for my calls and said he would remove my number from the list.  He did say it was a survey company and my number may be under various projects.  I also don't own a business or any of the other things he asked to see why I was on the list in the first time. Either way, I hope he will do what he says and relieve me of these incessant calls.  I get calls all day long from bogus places, what a waste of a number!

This number calls 1-2 times per day; no one ever leaves a message. This is been going on about
2 months now. I wish they would stop calling. A complete nuisance!

I got a call from here too.  I asked the guy on the other line to take me off the list, and they hung up on me.  Thanks for posting the info.  I called and a very nice man answered, and said that he would remove me from the list.  He also said that the other person probably did they same, but just did it rudely. Eh, whatever.  I hope the calls stop.

Even if you immediately return the call you've missed, you get a msg saying "there is no one here to take your call".  Assumption, it must be some type of telemarketer.

Called me, asked for my Human Resources manager, heard my kids in the background and said, "Oh, this sounds like a residence," and just hung up. I am so sick of that kind of asinine behavior—how hard is it to say, "Sorry about that" before hanging up? I guess they don't want to go through the "put me on your do not call list" complaints so they just hang up. Glad I found this page—I called the corporate office and gave them an earful and had my number removed.

I just received a call from 202.686.9742, Saturday 6:08 pm.  They told me that they were from CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and wanted to know if I would participate in a survey.  The first question they asked was was I a member of CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Well, you're supposed to be the CareFirst.  If you don't even know if I'm a member, clearly you're not CareFirst.  They were just phising for personal information.

rec'd a call from this number, did not answer, they keep calling

I also got a call from this no.  I didn't answer it, just hung up.  Decided to search to see who it was.  How do you stop unsolicited calls on your cell phone?  I've put my home number, cell and relatives on the "DO NOT CALL" list.  It doesn't matter.

Just received another call from 202-686-9742.  Washington, D.C. also appeared on screen.  Annoying.

They call me constantly and I put them on my block list. I get so many calls from people like this and constanly having to put them on my block list. My list will only take 6 blocks, so I constanly playing music chairs. The minute I take some one off and put another call on, I then start receiving the person calling again. Some of these people have a lot of numbers. I notice one will end with a 1. I delete them, then they call back and the last number is 2, etc.

Must be some way the public can stop receiving these calls.The telephone company or some organization that can have this stopped and if they do call thev and have it reported . Then they fined them or wht ever. But don't tell me it cannot be done. Congres or who ever handles things like this should be able to put a stop to these types of calling. THis is totally rediculious that our big nation cannot get this stopped. Of course they don't call the big wigs, so they are ot bothered and could careless about us. Any one knowig an Organization that can help, plese let us know. We can just start sending a petition to them. There are so many people that call us like this person and it is getting worse. This does not have in other countries.

Called Seattle mobile number just now.

Got a call yesterday ... didn't answer ... no message ... called again today ... this time left a voicemail.... I heard a man take a deep breath the and then all I could here was background white noise for about 3 mins.   VERY ANNOYING!!!!  When I called back I got a message and no voicemail box ... it just hung up on me.   I have emailed the corporate contact to REMOVE my number from their list.  I hope it helps.
