Same thing the guy L A  Guy got. Scam.

Exact same call as stated from others from IRS right down to case no.   I informed them I knew it was a scam and would call and report them then call them back...She told me not to call back because the police were coming to my door to arrest me.take my money my property and lose me my job..Told her that would be fine did they have my address...on that note she hung up....Very insistent about trying to get me to close case and wanted to know if I had ample supply of cash which was $6840.00....tried to get as much info as I could so I'd have more info to pass along.

I received the same call with the same message and the same Case # 2 days in a row.  Did not call back.

I received the same call  from Bowne Global on 10/16/15  12:27 pm.  Reference # CF79591.    I did call back, all he said was an FBI agent will pick me up in 30 minutes and I will be in jail for 2 years, then he hung up.    I received several identical calls several months ago.  I ignored them and now they are calling again.

Had me worried but wanted me to send money today and bells went off.  Hung up

This is pretty lame.  Everyone knows you don't talk to anyone about alleged legal action until AFTER you've read the suit - especially not to a stranger on the phone!

This call is bogus.  You should ignore and block this criminal caller.

Call was from same guy and same BS…..put them on my call block list right away.

They use various phone technologies which allow them to hide their location.  VOIP and sometimes Magic Jack phones.  Not to mention other devices that can be used to hide their locution.   Even if you could find them, there's nothing anyone can do since they are located in India and Pakistan.   US can do nothing and the local governments do nothing.  Invest in a call blocker.   NASA could probably find them, but what's the point if they cannot be tried in the US.

I received the EXACT same message with the SAME case number. Definitely a scam do not fall for it!

no name was mentioned but the rest was the same.
I am an InfoSec manager and the past 2 weeks there has been a deluge of phishing emails - phone calls
Since October is Cyber Security Awareness month - I find it the timing extremely interesting. Tell your IT support people that you feel their pain - cookies or cakes or a smile and an Attaboy/girl would be encouraging

My caller id said Keith Brown and it claims he's an officer saying similar things as everyone else mentioned.  Even gives me a case number for reference.

Scam artist pretending IRS agent name Kimberly Brown called 10/20/2015 0905H same situations all of above.Called back it was Male Indian Voice and immy hang up.

I received the exact same message with the exact same case number.  If you're not sure it's a scam, then why would I have the same case number as Doug?  Low life scum.

Just received crazy recorded message, same content as described previously. :(

Same story I read on line....call this number or she wishes me a lot of luck.

I also received a call today from (202)741-4061 demanding they were from the IRS and I had to return their call because they had a "Criminal Law Suit" against us & "good luck if you don't call us back"  Same message and case # as the complaints above

I received the same recorded message today 10/20/2015  i thought i was hearing things i was being called a CRIMINAL!!  I Replayed it 3 times.  It didnt say anything about taxes owed. Just that a criminal action was filed against me. Which I thought was strange.  I knew it  had to be a SCAM. I was right.   Thank you everyone for your informative information!!
