Received the exact same message today (Nov.19th )  with same case number ( CF79591 ) and call back number 202-741-4061 on my answering machine.

Same here, attempted to extort $10,000.00 from my wife, told her not to tell me or anyone else and take out a personal loan! Said Sheriffs were going to arrest her for tax evasion but they were from the Treasury dept.
Multiple people called: Chris Simmons, Ryan Booker, Adam Jones, and Dave Jackson even gave a federal badge number cf79591.

Someone from this phone number called my 80 year old mother and left a message that had a threatening tone and words very similar to the messages left for others commenting here.

They have been bothering us for weeks telling us we own $8461,00 and threatened us with arrest today!

I did exactly what you did, I called back all day and they started to get very angry. It's the same man and woman. They answer the phone as US Treasury dept. under names:

Dave Jackson, Ryan Booker, Chris Simmons, Adam Jones and the female is Officer Nikki Johnson.

Every time I called and it was a lot same two obviously Indian accented people answered, just kept same script of name though. I assume not to confuse themselves.

Exactly same thing happened today to us threatened arrest for back taxes. Phone Number 202-741-4061. Two people from India with accents female using name Officer Nikki Johnson....Indian male goes by Ryan Booker, Dave Johnson, Chris Simmons, Adam Jones, Gregory ?

I got the voice mail using computer generate voice (Old Radio Shack program) I got the same phone call description the same ask some other user have mention, and want my social security number and credit card number to pay for the tax that I have file wrong last couple year, or else will ask Police for house arrest.
It using 0112027414061 it is international call, and 3022690344 it is the backbone company route this call to my house. If you are using Verizon service and go to login to your account and block those number show about.

What if you did return the call? Stupid me returned the call and gave them my full name. I am doing lifelock now because I am freaked out. I knew as soon as she said I didn't pay my taxes it was a scam and I hung up giving them no other info, but they can do a lot with a name (hoping not)!

Voicemail from legal dept of IRS stating to call immediately. Urgent that I return and not ignore.

I got this call. Actually called number and it was not a working number. I knew it was a scam and wouldn;thave given any infomation.

Recieved a call informing me that I am being charged by the IRS for fraud and to call them immediately to prevent criminal charges from being filed. Wished me luck if I did not call back immediately.

After receiving multiple scam calls claiming to be from the IRS, I received this call threatening a criminal lawsuit if I did not call back immediately.  I was told to contact my attorney.  All of these calls and many others from companies trying to sell me things started after I inquired about Obamacare and had to provide a phone number to see the available plans.

Had a phone that my machine picked up with caller saying have my attorney call ASAP to avoid big problems! Caller ID showed Dist Of Columbia

Same crap. The people on the phone trying to be the IRS should send in a resume. They fit quite well.

I never respond to computer generated messages anyway, but I was curious as to who these people are since the beginning of the message was cut off.

Recorded womans voice said she was from the internal revenue service and had a criminal lawsuit filed against me. I or my attorney should call back ASAP or charges would be brought against me.  Got 3 calls yesterday and another one this morning a 8:30.  How do I make them stop?

Says they are US Treasury and have a warrant for my arrest.

If you find out how to get them to stop please advise! We are getting calls at 1 in the morning as well.

I received a similar call from a different number, and decided to mess with the scammers. So I called back and asked the guy, "Do you have my file there in front of you?" He responded, "I know all about you." So I asked, "Then what's my Social Security number? What's my address?" When he stuttered and stammered and stalled, I then let loose with a string of very effective and colorful profanity directed toward him, his parentage and several previous generations. This lasted until he was able to struggle to reach the phone and hang up.
I suggest that others ask such specific questions of these scammers, then when they're unable to answer treat them in a similar way. Then report them to the proper authorities when they hang up.

I got the call to and called them and told the guy I was going to report them to the FBI as a scam. Then he asked me "Is there anything you want to do before you die? You should do it"  and I said great, a threat over the phone is a federal crime and the FBI are going to come see him, then he said he said "I am going to cut you up and feed you to the sharks". It was pretty interesting messing with the guy.

Whoever is calling from this number will not stop.    They say it is the IRS and that a lawsuit is being filed against me.  Wish they would stop.  I do not owe the IRS any money!
