Caller I'd said Tech. When they told me what they wanted I called them scammers and also other choice words.

Answer call "Federal Trade Commission, Agent Spencer, Who am I speaking to please? they hang up quickly and never call again, lol

The creeps have called me so much recently and so I got them back.  Told them my husband left me and took the computer with him and I don't know where he is - there is dead silence after I said that and they hung up.  Don't mess with me, I am on to you and your tricks.  It is all a scam

Fortunately, missed a call from this number about 15 minutes back. No message left.

I received seral calls from this humver from either men or women with a very heavy Middle Eastern accent, they want to know my "licence number" because Windows reported my computer has  a Troyan virus (?).  They denied giving me any information about their company insisting that I give them access to my computer first. This is indeed a scam.

I received a call from this number from "Nancy" from "online technical experts" reporting that their systems were telling me my computer had security issues with various malware and such and saying they could fix my computer for me.  She could not tell me how they had gotten my  number or how their systems identified my computer, but assured me they would only work on it if it was the correct computer.  She gave me an ID number and asked me to look it up on my computer to verify that..  It was an impressive long number, but I later learned it was really the CLSID, which is a common number for computers.  But I can see how one could think she really had singled out your computer somehow.  Anyway, I told her I could not talk at that time (which was true) and she asked when she could call me back.  Meanwhile, I took the time to look up the  phone number on my caller ID and found that this is the number listed here, definitely not someone I wanted to deal with.  I happened to be working on the phone for a long time this afternoon, but I see on the caller ID that I did get several attempted calls from that number around the time I gave her.  This CLSID post is informative:

Same as most on here, caller ID is TECH . Claim my computer is  reporting a problem to them and they can fix it for me.When asked what the problem is they say only we can view the information. OK I admit I played with these people for about 20 min. When they wanted me to run a program, I told them it said "access denied" and they passed me onto another tech who wanted me to go to a remote access website so they could repair my computer for me , I told them my computer came back with " ACCESS to this website is denied". After a few more attempts they passed me off to another 'TECH' who wanted to have me reboot and reload...bla bla bla...  Finally grew tired of this stuff and when I was passed to still another TECH I just kept saying "I can't understand you"  over and over and over and hung up. They never called back.

Pretty much the same as the rest. Told me that I have a problem with my "Windows Computer" I replied there is no such thing. Then he corrected and said "windows operating system". I kept saying you are a scam and do not call back. Though he kept trying to speak, I continued to say you are a scam and do not call this number back. I told him that if they should call back he will be reported to the "Federal Communications Commission". That is the best way to get some of these scammers shut down. I do not mess with them.

Judging from the 8 pages of complaints on this number, these are very busy little bees.  Caller ID shows Tech.  Not a chance.  But they try several times a week.

Got a speaker phone? When you get these crazy calls, just tap the speaker phone button twice, on/off. No need to answer.

Caller ID: TECH. Indian accent. I asked where he was calling from: California. Asked him how he knew I have a problem: he has my PC's security ID. I asked him if he would wait while I call the Attorney General: yes. I tried again, would he wait while I call law enforcement: yes, you can conference. So after he called my bluff I changed my tone of voice from befuddled noob to 20-year IT pro, said "don't call again" and hung up. And blocked the number. If I get another one I want to try to get them to "escalate" to an engineer. Or maybe I'll ask them to stay on the line long enough for me to send a "bit bot" through the phone line to attack THEIR systems.

The caller said he was from Microsoft and that my computer was issuing constantly an error messages and the caller was asking to log on to my system.

Scammers / Hackers. May also use 2025456243 number.

This guy called saying he is a computer tech with Microsoft and they detected a problem on our computer.  At that point, we know it's a scam and tell him not to call back again or we will report him to the police.  Then we hang up.  We have gotten several calls like this recently, but can't be sure it's the same guy every time.  He sounds like he's from India.

These people are sending emails as well stating he is Austin Burk with Advance Cash & that I owe 700.00 that I may text this number to make payment arrangements or they will arrest me in 4 hours!! What a joke- these scammers need to be stopped- I would hate for someone to think these emails are legit!!!

This caller asked 100 friends on facebook info to get grants from the government..

Rcvd repeated calls no message

Someone just called on this number I didn't answer assumed it was a scam. Why can't police or someone stop them?
