Some kind of phone marketing. Call the number back and tell them to take you off of their list.

caller id shows CAP SVCS, sounded like a robo-call, but I hung up before I could tell for sure. "Hi, this is xxx from card services calling about your credit card balance."

I have a capital one card, but no way they would call without identifying the name of the company.

Call came in at 11:11am from this number and caller ID showed CAP SVCS. Since the area code was not familiar, did not answer. No message was left. If they can't leave a message, it wasn't important - to us.

answered CAP SVCS. NO RESPONSE SO I HUNG UP

Called my cell. I am on every do not call list known to humans. Pressed 2 for opt out of future offeres. Makes me furious. I pay this bill, not them. Why would I care for a lower credit card interest rate? IO don't carry a balance on any card. Jerks.

Called at 12:43pm.  Caller ID shows call was from Seattle Washington, no company name. Answered and there was no response at all.

I don't have caller ID, so I used Last Call Return to find out who called at 10:45 AM 4-3-12.  I have been getting a number of calls with no one on the other end.  I thought they were from my neighbor checking to see whether I was in--so he could play his music at full blast if I was not.  But he would have a 503 number.  Now I see that others have been bothered by this number as well.

I called back, automatic system says press 1 to be taken off list. Then it says please allow 72 hours for this change to take place.

I don't usually post stuff like this but ... I just received call from a recording, I pushed 0 to try to get a live person to see how they got my info ... got someone with a heavy accent, he said they're calling to lower my interest rate because I've been paying on time for the past 6 months. I asked where he was calling from, he said "card services"; I asked which account he was calling about, he said they're lowering rates for a lot of banks - Bank of America, Citibank, HSBC, etc - but didn't tell me which account he was calling me about; I asked again which account he was calling about and how they got my number and he hung up on me.  At this point I was pretty irritated - first I'm on the do not call list, so how the heck did they get my number?  And second, my credit is horrible right now - I'm in the process of filing bankruptcy!! so how are they calling to lower my rate because I've been paying on time for the past 6 months?? I called the number back (which is what the recording says to do if you want to take advantage of their offer) but only got a recording the "press 1 to be removed from the calls" and no option to talk to a live person - I pushed 1 to be removed from their list (within 72 hours) and then got disconnected - I called back to give them hell and there is no option other than "1", you get disconnected even if you push 0.
DEFINITELY SOME KIND OF SCAM.

same with me, I'm tired of these calls, I also am on every "do not call list" known to man kind, yet these robo-calls are still allowed. I thought they were supposed to put a stop to robocalls.

Yeah right!  Lowering interest rates on cards of different banks!  IMPOSSIBLE!  If you believe it you are an idiot.

They do end them with HONEST organizations.  However, those that are doing this now are illegal as the day is long and yet they get through to people and either get their personal information and rob them blind  or find some other way of taking the vulnerable to the cleaners.  If they succeed, you deserve it because you believe they are legit.  Wake up people

I think its "CAP", captain of the cruise ship calling us about our "Free Cruise!"  

I can't wait to shove off on the good ship "SVCS",  "Sadisticly Violating Cardholders Services".

I filed a complaint with the FCC directly and I was issued a case number.  Below is my current list of numbers that I blocked utilizing my 20 block limit on my AT&T Uverse service.  It's simple to block these numbers on line with this service but I'm already up to 11 blocked numbers.  I don't know what I'll do once I have met my max in blocking ability.  You'll see complaints on all 11 of these numbers on the internet.  I have only posted this insight here regarding the phone number 206-445-6131.  I'd have to repost this insight 10 more times if I wanted to make reference to this insight pertaining to all 11 blocked scammer numbers that I have already discovered and blocked.  Here's a copy and paste of my actual on-line list of blocked numbers (see below).  You'll want not only to block all of these but you too should help see to it that this insight be furnished to persons receiving calls from any of these numbers.  I just can't repeat this posting 10 more times.  FILE WITH THE FCC, THE MORE COMPLAINTS THE BETTER.  This subject matter should also be looked into by your local CBS, NBC, ABC investigative / fraud reporters.  It would make for a VERY interesting special report for all viewers to gain from.  This s... has to stop!!!   Good luck and please help put an end to these disruptive intruders / scammers.  CALL THE FCC AT 717-338-2533.  Here's my blocked number list to date (4-4-12).

Called at 8.30 am (jerks) I did  not recognize the number so did not answer they did not leave a message and the call came in as UNKNOWN NAME
