Mine too...has been for years. That doesnt stop them.

Had msg on landline phone, said SCAM: CAP SVCS, no msg left.

Just got a call from this number.  They didn't leave a message, but the caller id actually read  "SCAM: CAP SVCS".  Maybe this number is finally listed with the phone company as an actual scam !

Lower your interest rate on credit cards

I get these calls all the time.  I press on the 1 and 2 keys and hold them down hoping they will mess up their equipment.  Every time I get one I report it on the donotcall list.  And they don't stop.  You would think that the Govt could make these people stop even if they are out of the country.  Certainly the phone companies can block numbers like this.

I also got a call from 206-445-6131.  I don't answer calls if I don't have a good idea who is calling me.
The name that came up after the number was "SCAM: CAP SVCS"   I thought it was funny that it said "scam", how true.

Caller ID said:

SCAM: CAP SVCS

Is that a dead giveaway or what????

Thanks to this board & a couple others, I am able to ID this scam!

this is the 1st time I actually listen to the whole message....says press 2 to discontinue these calls.  Someone  started talking and I couldn't understand him.  When I said I was on the DO NOT CALL LIST  he hung up.

These idiots have called three 3 times before lunch today. Do not answer calls with crazy ids. Phone carriers have a responsibility to shut down these numbers.

I received a credit card scam call from this number at approximately 9 am today, April 11, 2012. It was an automated call from "Heather" at "Credit Card Services" and the call directed me to press number "1" for more information. At that point, "Jason" came on the line and told me that because I'd made all my payments on time, he could help me get my credit card debt lowered to 6% interest. When I asked which card he was calling about, he gave me a long list, including Bank of America. He asked me how much credit card debt we had and I told him I didn't know, as my husband handled that. I then said I wasn't interested and hung up. I have no doubt that I will continue to receive calls from these people, even though we are on the national "Do Not Call" list.

206-445-6131 called at 9:40 AM CST on my cell. I have answered this area code before so I didn't bother this time. I have the number saved as scam in my caller information list. I am on every do not call list that I know of.

I knew it was a SCAM will I picked up the phone and heard about lowering my interest rate.  I hit 1 and told them to go F themselves.  They hung up on me. :-)

Telemarketer in spanish for a credit card. Cannot answer in ENGLISH both on my home and cell phones twice(or more) a month

Received a missed call from this number today. No message. If you call the number back, there is a recording asking you to press 1 if you want to be placed on their do not call list. When you press 1 it says "Please allow up to 72 hours." It doesn't say what the promotion or company is.

I got a call from this number. When I took the call no one answered.

Caller ID said CAP SVCS, but did not leave message.

Long distance number.  I will NOT call somebody to take me off of their list on my dime.  I will instead report them for breaking the law.

Probably a telemarketer -- at least the Caller ID was truthful:  SCAM: CAP SVCS
