Continues to call but leaves no message.

I received a call this AM. My caller ID did not display any name, only the number. Simply stated, if I don't see a name or recognize an area code, I don't answer. I agree with the posters who say don't interact with them. Don't call them back, don't press any number to be removed, and don't speak to ANYONE trying to get more information about who they are. They will simply disconnect the call.

However, I disagree with those who say you should report the number to the national DNC registry.
I personally think that the DNC is an extremely poor joke that we have been conned into believing
actually does some good. I'm starting to think that this is where they are getting their calling lists from.

My home # is registered with the "Do Not Call" list. Get a call every morning around 8:30 A.M.  I do not want further phone calls from these people. They are like an itch you can't scratch! Total aggravation.

Cap Svcs -- like another poster, I think the V should be replaced with a U. Left no message. I did not bother to answer. Also on DNC registry. <heavy sigh> Most calls are robo calls these days; however, I'm always tempted to answer and say "Honey! It's the doctor calling from the hospital with Little Timmie's transplant. We'll be right there, doctor!" and hang up. There's a great recording making the rounds of the Internet with some guy who convinced a caller that he'd reached a police investigation at a murder scene, and that he was now a suspect because of his call. "And how long have you known Mr. Jones?" Too automated these days. I simply don't answer, and don't call back -- I especially don't press X to speak with an operator, as that establishes a business relationship between you and the company... which gives them the legal right to call you again. I wonder if those business relationships are transferrable? That is, I press X to speak with an operator, and the noble telemarketer sells (or leases) that business relationship to some other company, which can then claim that they have a business relationship with me in turn, thus covering appropriate butts... interesting.

Just got a call from this number. Washington state area code?

Said hello twice to silence, then hung up.

It also lit up "Scam: CAP SVCS" - I wonder if Comcast put that since my phone is through them...

they said they wanted to give me a lower rate on my credit card and for me to call them back.
my credit card co. does not do this for i called them. so it is a scam

Got acall from them yesterdt, 4/12/12. Didn't answer. Glad I didn't!

I love how Comcast's caller-ID service shows this as SCAM: CAP Serv. I did not pick up the call seeing that on my ID screen.

Get calls from 206-445-6131. They will let it ring until I lift the receiver to stop it. YES. We are on the DO NOT CALL list but this does not stop them.

My question is why do we even have a No Call List if we aren't even protected by it?
It is so annoying and something has to be done about it and now!!!!!

Guess they want to give everyone a wake up call. I've never had one that early but apparently they don't know what a time zone is!!!!!

Today I got a call from 206-445-6131. I let it ring 3 time then pickup. Massgae Credit Card Services.
Press 1 to talk to agent and Press 2 to be removed from call list. I Pressed 2 and a person with a India accent started talking. She said she is with Bank One & Bank of America to lower interest from
10%. She said I had a MASTER CARD. I do not have a Master Card. I told her No to the interest Rate. She hangup on me. As you can see I was wasting the agents time. They realy hate that.
This the best way to handle them if you have the time. Say please hold and get then upset.

Something has to be done about these scam calls. Don't these clowns have a circus to go to?
