They call me several times a day.  It is Chase and I maxed out the card on purpose to the tune of 25K.  I told them as a taxpayer I already paid them with the government bailout money.  Did the same with Bank of America.  I don't own anything in my name for them to attach other than my old car.  Just waiting for the government to collapse.

Default judgments can always be opened up by doing an order to show cause to vacate the default, vacate the judgment & lift the garnishment/freeze on bank account. Once that is done, then enter into a payment plan that you can live with. Make sure interest stops. Usual settlement is 70% of the debt. Once you default on the payment plan, it's back to the original amount + interest, so don't ever be late on your payments.

Continuous phone calls. No one on the other end. Ilooked up on google and found it to be Chase collections. Why are they calling me? I am legally deaf, and only carry a cell phone for emergencies and text messages.

Its Chase. They are on an automated dialer system that will continue to call until the cardmember is spoken to.  The automated system runs before the act appears on the represenatives computer screen. If you hang up on the rep. you will continue to get calls!  If you dont have an account with chase tell them, they will remove your number.

    Chase Customer
I have started getting these calls on my cell and when I pick up there is nobody there.  I called the number and it is Chase.  The person I spoke to asked if I knew someone named Misty.  I said no.....but told her that for the past two years I have been getting collection calls on my cell for this person.  She apologized and said the number keeps popping up because of an old account this person has/had.  She told me she would remove my cell number and apologized again.

Thanks everyone for the info; it's a relief to know who the calls are coming from. I've gotten multiple calls from this number for two days; they leave no message and the one time I picked up, there was music. This is the first month I've ever been late on my Chase payment.  Interesting that they made no attempt to contact me professionally via mail or phone and that they immediately resorted to nasty, underhanded harassment.  Sneaky [***].

I just called Verizon wireless and it's a free service to get the number blocked (but the block must be reinstated every 90 days).

I tried to report the Chase number on the FCC website, but for some reason it said that it was an invalid phone number.

This number keeps calling and I am a disabled person that has a hard time getting to the phone. They do not leave a message. I just want them to stop calling. If they do not have enough respect to leave a message they should not be calling at all!!!! What has happened to the world?

I receive 3 to 4 calls a day from this number.  Caller leaves no message.  When caller first began calling my cell phoe I would answer and caller wanted to know who I was; I asked who he was, he murmed a name I could not fully understand, then asked who I was, I replied "who are you calling for?".  He then hung up; but, continues to call several times a day.  I no longer answer my phone.
    • Caller: Do not know.
