About every 3-4 weeks I get a call from this number same thing trying to scare you. I did have some payday loans in the past but they have all been paid off.  Don't let anyone fool you into paying money you don't owe.  As above there are laws about debt collecting and you are protected and there is not Debtors Jail

Got the same call......Keep calling them back it pisses them off I figure if they are going to waste my time I can waste theirs!!!!!!!!!!!! Kind of fun actually :-)

I am receiving cell phone calls from a company called Central Asset Bureau in Texas.  They called me a week ago,  stating that I had a court file number that was being filed in my county for a payday loan that I never paid back.  I called it back and was told by a they had a case and wanted me to pay them, Today 3/29/12 They called and the women called me a derange A** b***h and hung up on me, I called back and got some other women that told me that was was crazy and I will get court papers at my home and work, She could not handle me and I will get papers. LOL Well I know it is no law office they would never tell you that you are  derange A** b***h they can't pull anything on me. Maybe the calls will stop now.

I just received a phone call from a Kristie saying she was a special investigator and that it was a restraining order placed against me and that I needed to contact 210-892-1308 or I will be sued and placed in prison! She gave me a claim number of 2U0H1705!!!!!!!! This is a scam and they have changed their technique up....they have been calling me since 2007..nothing pending or have been done to me!!

A Lula Mckenzie, who says she is a special investigator contacted me in reference to a restraining order and claim against me with a claim # nick2747 as a respondent in a court action and to please forward information to my atty and we have 24 hours to oppose this issue and need to call 210-892-1308 and speak to someone in the litigation department.

I got a phone call asking for a call back to this number saying that charges were being brought against my daughter! She was harrassed last year by someone calling from different numbers about the same thing. They said a warrant would be issued and that she would have charges brought against her. This is ridiculous and these people need to be stopped! How did they know she was my daughter? I am so glad I didn't fall for this and call back to provide information. Instead I called my daughter and she googled the number and told me to call back and tell them to stop harrassing me.

Got same phone call like everyone else.  It was for my son who passed away 2years ago, so I knew it was not sounding kosher. Looked up area code on Internet and you guys really helped.  Thanks for leaving all your stories.

These people are notorious for doing this. They tried this once before on me several years ago. They are in San Antonio. So my daughter was going there for a convention and I was the chaperon and we went to the physical address that they were giving me. It was a bogus address. We found a little office with phones and people. No name on the door, etc. I could hear these people talking the same as they do on the phone. Now they decided it's been a few years, call again. How they have my cellphone number I will never know because it is not in my name. Telling me that I have a loan that I did online. They said it was from 2009. They gave me a reference name of an old friend of Kelly Smith. I have not see or spoken to Kelly Smith in over 8 years or more. So they are pulling at straws. And a restraining order..Please. Why would someone put a restraining order on you if you owe a debt that has already been discharged or off your credit record. That would mean they want you to stay away from them. Now it is my turn to fight. These people are scammers. I have never paid them any money and never will. Time for the BBB and the FTC again. We have all got to stand together and get these phonies off the street before they hit up people who do not understand and they lose their money to frauds.

Called the 210-892-1308 after receiving a message from a special investigator. Supposably I called the litigation department. The man told me i owed a payday loan. He said it was through the major corporation Pay Day Loans. I asked him to send me the original debt & he told me it has already been sent 4 times & that i would get a letter after i made my first payment. I said so i cannot get anything before a first payment. He said well no ma'am it does cost money to send out mail. I told him, i had already payed off the payday loan through them & that i could send him confirmation. He said he can contact the client & let them know that i said i already payed and that i can fight it in court. Then he told me maybe it was another payday loan since the own many smaller companies. I asked who the original company was & he said they do not have this information. It went back & forth like this for 10 minutes or so, before i told him to have a great day & hung up.

My daughter took the call for me today and was scared. She thought they actually were trying to put me in jail. I just went back to college after 30 years and have no one after me but she doesn't understand. How do you report this to the Attorney General? I live in Georgia and didn't even know anyone in Texas and haven't applied or looked for any payday loans since I have no job right now. I just got a new phone number from AT&T and haven't given it out to any companies or advertisers yet. It teed me off that they would scare a kid like that while I was in class. What do I do next?

Got a call as well, blah, blah, blah, same story as others............Are these people that "stupid"........It's sad but what's worse is "our government" you know the people who are to protect us.....Cannot stop or put these people out of business.......Just goes to show you how much your government can really protect you & what rights you really have........"None"..... The criminals have all the rights.........Time to do something about it "America"

My brother received a call from this number, the man's name was" Dayton" he said he was looking for me. He asked for my contact number and told him my lawyer needed to contact them in regards to a retaining order. I am so tired of these calls. PLEASE make them stop, these people are scary and threaten  people of their safety.

A person Lou McKenzie left a message on my phone today for my daughter with a case #  & the phone number 210-892-1308  stating that she owed a debt for an internet loan that she took out and didn't pay and it was fraud.  they said they had no been able to serve papers to her, but had the correct address. Said that we had 24 -48 hours to call our attorney or they would place a restrainng order against her.
