Keep getting calls 2 or 3 times per day.  STOP!!

this number called me at 8:30pm.  I didn't answer as I did not recognize the number.  They did not leave a message.
I will not answer if it calls again.  I am the Do Not Call List.  

I will report this number to the proper website, I've done that before since I am on both state and federal no call lists. Seems to work or I can just block the number.

it is a scam. They are routing their number through MCI in California. They are actually not from the USA. I have done some checking. If you do a call trace you will find that out. I was getting multiple calls from this number but they would not leave a message. I am also on the DNC list. It don't matter.

They are claiming they are microsoft calling and that they are receiving error messages from my computer and are concerned that I have been infected with a virus.  I don't have a microsoft computer - so this is a total scam in the making

I got a call from this number and called it back later and it says its a nonworking number.  Must be scam.

On November 12, 2013 Microsoft Security sent an email with the subject line "Fake support phone calls could lead to identity theft."

Recent posts here suggest that is exactly what this number is being used for, while those on the first page, older posts, indicate that the number was used for some other dishonest activity.

I was not home when the call came. The caller ID read simply "California."

I got Caller ID about 3 years ago and it was just in time to have enough information to know not to pick up certain calls as well as to set up call blocking.

Sometimes I answer but say nothing. Then sometimes a recorded spiel starts and other times there's nothing until the click of the robot dialer disconnecting.

The reason you often hear nothing is that these boiler rooms are robot-driven. If someone answers the call is held until the robot can route it to one of the workers.

It is definitely annoying, but not worth becoming emotional. Doing so only negatively affects a person's physiology and is completely out of balance for a cold-blooded scam operation. Treat 'em like the vermin they are, something to be avoided as a matter of course. Give it just as much emotion as lies behind it: none.

This number called me claiming to be a financial company offering me a loan. I looked up the company they claimed to be and found the company only offers auto loans not what this person was trying to offer me. Do not give them any information.

Thanks to all.  I do not answer unknown numbers other local area code.  I check here for other numbers.  If the number is listed here as telemarketer or spam I make a contact First Name--DNA (Do Not Answer), Last Name the Number: 213-330-0187.  I assign one beep as the ringtone.  No more wondering about that ring.

the caller scammer from India said he was from windows tecnical support  when i told him that i don.t want to talk any support  he hot roode and nasty the phone # 213-330-0187

Called ask to speak to me.  Phone disconnected.  Caller ID showed California, no other info.

Not sure of connection....lots of "stupid" callsss like thissss.

Call from 12133300187 -- Caller ID said "California"
Caller confirmed me by my first name (creepy) and said he was from "the help desk" and that they had been getting error messages from my computer. Heavy Indian accent (words super slow as well).  I disconnected the call.

Received identical call last month from a different "California" number.

I got 3 calls within 2 hrs first I answered it was a man I yelled and said its 930pm y are u calling now he said I'm sorry it goes by automatic dial I said stop calling then received 3 more w Nada but a msg saying goodbye I'm pissed off

Called my cell phone. Didn't recognize the number. Didn't answer. No message left.

Caller left no message - now blocked with CallClerk software and a cheap USB modem.

I got call from this number today saying to call them or have my lawyer call them back. about some file they received. won't or at least can't understand who they are and what company there with
