I received a call today but did not answer. They left a message saying they had papers to serve me at my residence or place of employment. I never called them back & will block the number. These people are scammers in the first degree! Beware!

received a call from this number.  Call was for another person.  It was a recorded message.  The caller stated that he had papers to serve the other person unless he called the "plaintiff" at an 877 number.

I have received calls from 213.330.0187, and never have picked up the phone.  I have blocked this number from my phone.  Anyone with a Verizon phone call block it also.  Add the number to your contact list, then go to setting and have it blocked.  I hope it works, and good luck.

i keep getting calls from Maurice Hougum but they never leave a message. i am a private person. not affiliated with any organization, so i guess we are both confused.

I get it, I think it is a scam to get money from anyone who will fall for their message. Do as I do, don't pick up.

Continue to call leaving threatening messages.

Unwanted calls on my work and cell phones. "Thanks so much for your support" is all I hear, then dead noise, although still connected.

Got this call on 5/22/14. Message said, "Thank you for your support," and hung up. I reported it to the National Do Not Call Registry.

They are saying that there are allegations of bank or check fraud and they want to verify my place of employment.

Didn't answer. They left a message stating that my credit card might have been illegally accessed. Wanted me to call back to verify banking info. Dumbasses. Scam for FRAUD. Report them to state AG.

I received a call last Friday  from 213-330-0187.  A man named "Charles Dickson" says he is calling for a "Rachel Ross" and says he has paperwork he needs to serve either at home or work.  Left a number to call "Plaintiff" at
888-431-9131.   I read scamcatcherguys notes on here about the same telephone number, but there are other
posts about this guy being a "notice server".  I just blocked this number so they cannot call back. I DID NOT
answer it.  I believe it's a total scam.  Hope others have an idea what this is.  Thanks

DO NOT call this number back!  If you can research new phones that will allow you to block,
get one.  They are SO worth the investment.

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago.   Because of past calls from this number I have blocked the number.  Immediately after the blocked number registered on my phone CID I received another call from "out of area".  I have not doubt that it was from the same scammers after they realized that they were blocked on their first attempt.  These people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

My phone rang, showing 213-330-0187, Los Angeles, CA.  I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer it.  I got a pre-recorded voice mail saying only, "Thank you for your support."  I blocked my number and called them back to see who it was, and got the "You have reached a non-working number" message from the phone company.

I received an automated call from this number Stating that my husband was. Recently involved in some check fraud charges And this needed to be handled immediately Or they would contact his employer And send the police to my residence! You would think these people would do the research better, My husband has been deceased for 9 years! I just laughed and hung up!

I keep getting calls from this number with no response.  They just call and hang up.   when I called back, the line is always busy.
