Call and hung ip

They asked who the owner of the business was, I said their name, then they hung up...what would the purpose be in that?

Called twice just this morning. I answered second call, and got tones like a fax machine, no person. VERY annoying!

Have received two calls.  First one left message he would call back.  Second was a male caller who refused to leave a message with wife.  When I tried to call back, the recorded message was that thecall could not be completed, call back later.  Annoying!  Can this number be blocked?

Please stop calling me!! These people are annoying!! I do not know anybody in california!

I am never home to answer it.  I saw it on my caller id and checked the answering machine.  Nothing.  So I decided to call it back since I know no one in California.  It rang and rang, and finally a man answered.  I told him that I was trying to figure out who was calling me.  He said it wasn't him, and informed me that he was in Portland, Maine and didn't have that number I was calling HOWEVER when I called it back, it call his cell phone.  He said he never called me and that he is not in California.

Keep getting calls from them too, I've never answered or tried to call back, and based on what I'm reading, I won't!

Not only did 213-330-0187 call but called again while I was saying hello and left an empty voicemail.  Come on!!!!  This is crap!  The number says out of service or call can not be completed as dialed when I hot return call.  Time for this number to not only be blocked, but for the FCC to step in and fine the company for this!  I have all my cell phone numbers and my home phone on the National Do Not Call list.  I think these people use this list as a contact list and ignore everything else.  Not cool!  If they call again, I am filing a complaint with the FCC!

I have received 4 phone calls from this number the first 2 last week were from a private number but the same guy saying the same thing called 2 times today from this number. He knows my bosses name and his daughter's nickname and my name and then said some very rude things and I hung up.

Just started this week. caller ID. California. Don't know anyone there but picked up out of curiosity. A man asked if I was Mr. (last name). I asked who was calling and he said the FOP. I laughed and said really, from California? He promptly hung up. I called back and got the out of service message. Hope it does not continue.

NOT SURE WHY THIS NUMBER IS CALLING ME I LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY AND THIS IS A CALIFORNIA PHONE # THAT I DO NOT RECOGNIZE OR DO BUSINESS WITH

First time received this call.  My do not call list is already full so I can't add anymore numbers!
These are annoying and I am sick of them.

I received a call from California 213-330-0187 saying they were a collection agency for verizon. and I owed them money.and I had to pay. They keep calling called verizon.They said they have no collection agency in California. What a scam.

Keep calling, some foreigner from California.  I know of no one there. Please refrain from calling my house.

Just got a call from 213-330-0187.  Some kid asking if I or my wife was home.  I said neither was available.  Hung up.

Another annoying call from some kind solicitor.  How come I keep getting calls like this when I'm on the Do Not Call Registry - what a big help that is!!!!!
