- PattiWe have had numerous calls from both men and women from this "Dynatech".
I have been hung up on every time that they have called. Today a guy named Brandon called. When I asked him for a contact name in our shipping dept. I was hung up on once again. I'm glad I found this site and know that this is a scam. I intend to call them out next time that they call, and I am certain that they will again.- Caller: Dynatech

- Adam replies to DeniseSame thing happened at my company. Guy asked for name and said he would report to my supervisor. what a joke.
- MikeI am getting calls from this number but so far no messages. I am pretty famiar with the shipping supply scams and I usually know how to handle. I had one that actually shipped 2 boxes of tape with no one's permission and I demanded that they send pick up labels which they finally did.
- CathyThis company asked for the shipping department. I said I could help her and asked what is was about she said Outbound shipments. Then the rude lady told me she didnt have time for twenty questions and hung up. Heres the best part ( When you call the number back it goes to dead air) You cant call it back.

- ABC123 replies to DeniseSame thing happened here. I work at a business, and he called and asked for Parts Dept. I said, "That's me." He said, "No Parts Dept." I told him again, "Yes, that is me." I figured because I was a woman, he didn't believe that I worked in Parts because I was a woman..Then he hung up on me.
- MAGGIECaller ID showed "Los Angeles" and the above number. Guy asked for the shipping dept so I asked if he was a customer or a vendor he said "vendor" so I asked who he was with he mumbled "DynaTech", it's usually "Delta Shipping Supplies" said he wanted to send out a catalog and I told him "no" we don't buy from you" and he hung up. The reason for the free gift you all are offered is that most companies frown on employees accepting free stuff and the scammer wants to threaten you with having accepted a bribe so that you will be afraid and buy their crap. Love this website because even if you can't stop the calls you can inform others about the scammers so they aren't successful.

Dumbasses shipped us a box of maybe 36 rolls of 2" tape and what looks like a $9 clock radio. The bill.. $475! For about $25 worth of crappy tape and a cheap radio!
Their lines are usually things like well send a catalog, or 'our records show you havent ordered anything in a while, we can send some tape and keep your account active.'
My google search of them and their phone numbers lead to some interesting links.
In an online yellow page they are listed under 'Photo Equipment Rentals' Same address, and numbers. Another lists them under 'studio rentals' same address and phone numbers.
Then theres a review site, where they must spend an hour a day posting fake praise reviews and star ratings to keep their good reviews up and the bad reviews hidden. Seriously, how many people are going to go online and search out a review site to praise 'TAPE!' yet apperently they get several glowing reviews a day! - JustinCalled and sounded like they were all high. Sang on the phone a bit, laughed, then hung up.
- jon replies to DeniseWell, I feel special, cause these clowns call at least once a month for the past year. Their are looking for an open PO number from you so they can bill you for stuff they never sent.quite comical

LOL - Spring-Heeled_jackThis afternoon I rec'd a call from the "famous" Dynatech. These guys tried to scam me last year withe the same free radio and 2" tape BS.
They sent this stuff to me once last year using the sams script and since I was new at this compaany I looked and saw that we did indeed need some tape and I said OK. When I got the tape and very cheap radio (which I re-gifted to my crappy brother-in-law) and the invoice showed up a few days later. The idiots tried to charge us $4.74 a roll for .50/roll tape. I called and told them it was a rip off and they said I would have to pay the invoice. I hung up and did a quick web search for Dynatech and saw just what I suspected...SCAMMERS! I called back and told them that I was going to send it back and was told that if I didn't pay we'd face legal action. I started laughing. The dude asked what was so funny and I asked him if he ever heard of something called the "internet". He says "what?", so I told him what I found and said good luck to you and you "legal action"
I then told him I was sending the tape back on their account and was keeping their cheap-ass radio for my troubles.

- Ron replies to K2008-09-05 - I called 800-960-1138 and spoke to a Patty at Dynatech. In reference to multiple phone calls from 213-537-1964. She was very polite and apologize. She said that she would have my company removed from the calling list and would speak to her supervisor about this. I told her that we have received many calls and hang ups from people that work at the telemarketing company. Lets see if this solves the problem and if they stop calling. I will not hold my breath.

- Such BSThis is the oldest scam in the book. They ask for shipping and then claim that they are going to send out a catalog of shipping supplies. They then ask if you are still using 2" clear tape. The also ask for your name. So then they send out a bunch of tape with a BIG invoice. So you call back and tell them a error occured. Instantly they'll play a (Altered)recording of you sounding like you ordered tape. Something like "You would like to order 2" clear tape - Yes".
So next time they call give it back to them. When they ask for your name give them a false one. Let them send you the tape and invoice. When they say "Paul" (what ever name you give) ordered it, have fun and let them know that no one by that name works here. Also make sure when you sign for the box it looks like chicken scratch. They'll bug you and give you crap, but they don't have a leg to stand on.
Enjoy your free tape and the fact that the scammer got scammed.- Caller: Dynatech

- JJust had a run in with one of those jerks. Same phone no. as you reported. Asked for the shipping dept, asked if he was bringing in or picking up a load said he was bringing one in, asked him for the PO no. which he didn't have, asked me why needed it, and I made the mistake of laughing at him. He said he was with Dynatech and was shipping us catalogs, I told him we don't buy from them and hung up. He called back and said "I'm sending them" and I told him I had informed our shipping & receiving dept to refuse anything from them. BTW you do not have to send back anything someone sends you without your permission, it's the law. So anyway, this bozo has now called about 70 times in a row and I just hang up the phone when his no. pops up. What a loser!!!!! Get a real job!
