I called this company over 30 times irritatimg them like they done me. everybody need to pick a day to call these rotten s.o.b. to aggravate them. i did and they got very upset. i am gonna do it every day until i get tired.

I receive an automated call from this number 215-526-2600, that left a voice mail.  The automated  message from Oxford Law requested verification of someone's name, then continued with the message, "that by staying on the line you were confirming you are the person they are trying to reach and that they were calling about a serious legal matter and to please call 877-543-6151."

I checked on the internet to see if I could find out any information because the call made no sense to me.  I have no debt and am not involved in any legal action.  Below is the information I found out.  The Oxford Law, LLC or possibly also known as Thomas Landis, Esq. is a collection agency.  

Thank you everyone that posted information on this potentially bogus and harrassing collection call center.  Apparently once you answer, even if you tell them that you are not the person that they are trying to reach the aggressive, rude and harrassing calls start.

Oxford Law LLC recently called my brother-in-laws mother, claiming she was listed as family, and identified themselves as LINN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. This place needs to be shut down.

called my home on saturday asking for someone that doesnt even live here...i told them they didnt live here and the lady told me that they did live here...told me to get a pen and papoer to take message for them...i told her i wasnt a secretary and told them to find the person they are looking for and tell them...she continued to tell me that they lived here...i started laughing at her and she finally hung up on me...maybe she will call again...

You are absolutely correct; firms/companies with legitimate claims will always send you information via postal mail first. They may call you afterwards, but they will always send you something via mail so you are aware of them. That is actually the legal way to contact someone for a debt.

Just because they "exist" doesn't mean they are "reputable."

They call almost every day. Never leave a Voice mail. I always miss the call. the earliest was 8 am and the latest was 8 pm.

Just received a call from the oxford law, llc. I let the machine pick it up, they left no message. I didn't recognize the #, I immediately goggled the name and found all these helpful posts. Thank you all fot the info! My wife an I have no debt and are on the do not call list, we also have an unlisted #, so how did they get our # ?

BTW - MOST if not all law offices would ignore any debt below $800...it's just not worth it for them to go after you for such a small amount, so my advice, just ignore them, they'll go away.

They left a message for me yesterday claiming to be from a radio station about a contest I might have won... Wish I had realized who they were before I deleted the message. I've had a bunch of hang ups from them in the past few weeks, but that's the only message.

Got a call with a pleasant sounding voice from a law office with a case number and please call.  I have no criminal activity and if it is a legitimate debt collector they are required by law to state they are trying to collect a debt.

It is a debt collector. In my case it was for a Staples or Office Depot commercial credit account. I have them on my cell phone reject list that forwards them to voicemail.They call at least once a day, seven days a week and they get off on the word "essential." They say, "This is Jane Doe with Oxford Law Group.... blah blah blah.......It is essential that you return my call at ..."

Whatever dude.. you are not going to get a call back from me.

They call and never leave a message. Only talked to them once, they've posed as a legal firm but they seem to be a scrupulous bill collection agency with false leads and bought information on old and outdated bad debts. They operate on a scam operation to bilk unsuspecting innocent people of their money. DO NOT TRUST!!!

Hi I have been receiving calls from seiler and ass they said I hada debt which I did not deny. I offered to pay a monthly payment to clear the debt. Are you saying they are not legit I have never recieved any paper work which they insist they sent. Can I truly just ignor them and not pay the debt back as its implied they are not legal attorneys, I'd rather pay the company I do owe the debt to. Please advise

I was woke up by then today as I am terminally ill I don't always sleep well so they were rude to me I asked you i said, they wouldn't answer me more than to say, answer who you are and I said no tell me why it is your calling.  I am contacting my states attorney general's office consumer affairs division immediately. I recommend everyone else was contacted by these morons do the same with your state don't get taken.
