I got this call in Sugar Land at 9:20am today.  Weird.

I just got the phonecall in Katy, TX. I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number (I love caller ID lol), but the message that everyone else is reporting was left on my answering machine.

I live in Houston and received the same recorded message at 11 am this morning that several others have reported here.

Same number, same recorded message in The Woodlands, Tx at 1:44 PM.

Had an untraceable credit card identity theft attempt by phone (probably from Dallas, jerks had a radio station playing on the hold audio) from "Credit Card Holders" so was suspicious about this.

Maybe it's all balancing out...

Same call.....katy texas at 10:18am 1/4/08, was left on my answering machine.  I would NEVER call back a number that I don't know without further investigation, too many scammers these days.  

If it's a random act of kindness, it's sad that we can't fully appreciate it, because there are so many jerks out there who will go to the gutter to trick and scam us, usually using the heart strings and emotions of good honest people.

I live in The Woodlands and got the call at 2:20 pm today.  

Kind of weird that these calls are all to the Greater Houston area.  My area code is 281 and I bet that most others have the same area code.
