I received the call at 1:35 PM in Spring, TX, Metro Houston exchange, I have plenty of faith that God does not live in Wisconsin, and does not need a telephone to contact me. !!!  I am calling the telephone company now.

I just got the same call, same message.  I'm in Houston, too.  The call came in at 2:11 p.m.  No idea what the connection is.  I immediately got on Google and Googled the phone number and found this site.  Fishy and weird...

I received message.  Have any of you recently donated money to any Houston charities?  I live near Houston as well.

I received the same message thanking me for what I have done etc.
I have donated blood in the last 30 days, and I have donated to the Salvation army

Got the same message on my voice mail today at 10:38 a.m.  It is my bday so I thought it had something to do with a birthday wish. Hmmm. . . .
Anyone find anything out for certain yet?

Forgot to mention that I am just oustide of the Houston area as well.

I'm in Katy and both me and a friend both received this message this morning.  She is unpublished.  Both are 281.  I have recently donated to Katy Christian Ministries

Too many similar post, what is going on, this stuff scares me, with all the ID theft and well knowing that many folks do not look at their phone statement and to rack up unknown charges. Question everything.

Actually there IS no 247 area code...Ozaukee county is 242.

For a short time there, I thought this was really nice.Finally one of my grown up family had decided to say thanks .Guess  not! I live in Katy Tx got the same call as everybody else at 10.33 this morning. I just checked googlw and got this site When I started reading these posts I thought maybe the donations that we leave at the door to be picked up from the varies charitites like Big Brothers and sisters, Purple hearts, Houston achievement, Paralized veterans etc. They have our telephone numbers. Still would have liked to think of it being one of my family using the internet sites to make automated calls.

Also Houston area  .. received same call at 1:30 pm.

I live in Cypress, TX-area code 832-and received the same message on my answering machine at 1:43PM. I have not given blood/donated to any charities.

I got the same call this morning....Though it was nice to hear, this just seems very weird to me.  And the fact that the number is untraceable, is even weirder.

This morning I received the same message from this number.  I am also in Houston, TX.

Today is Jan. 14, 2008. At about 12:35PM I received the exact same message from woman who sounded hispanic, but spoke good english. It's a nice message & I'm hoping that perhaps somebody or organization is trying to put some positive 'vibes' into our sad world.

Same call to Katy, TX.
