I just got it at 10:45....northeast Houston....maybe someone is just being nice, however, with all the news stories about pushing this number or callers from other countries then using your number for long distance calls, also prisoners getting others numbers for their rackets....how come something so nice has to make us all worry??!!  I am on the "do not call" list also, but still get calls :(    

Has anyone had any repercussions?  Maybe it is a study of some kind to see if people can accept someone being nice anymore without wondering what bad thing is behind it!  Isn't it strange that you can goggle a phone number and have all these messages come up?  

It was nice to hear, I agree.  So if someone making the calls is monitoring these messages and you have no ulterior motive, thank you...you are very kind :)

10:45 a.m. 6-6-08 quiet male voice stating that "You are valued by many others, thought you may need to hear that today" !   I did....thank you to whomever called.

yep, me too.  Same message -- you are valued, thought you might need to hear this.  Also suspicious, so was searching and found the site.  Anyone ever figure this one out?  Maybe State Attorney General is the way to go?

My wife received the same call from this number. Now you have to know that she is probably one of the most loving, giving persons in the world. The male caller said that he knows that she receives many calls but please listen to what I have to say. He told her that she was loved and appreciated for all that she has done in her life in the past and in the future and will be awarded. The phone then went dead. You have to know that this number, 247-478-6277 has 4 - 7's in the number and adds up to 71. 7 is in the Bible considered the perfect number. We think this was a call from God. This telephone number does not exist yet the number was captured on our telephone device.

I just got the same call and the same message.  I live just outside Houston in Spring.  I received the call on 6-6-08 at about 2:00 in the afternoon.
This is so strange that it has happened alot around the Houston area.  I called 411 and they said there wasn't a area code 247 in the United States.

My mom just got this exact same call this morning 6/6/08 around 10:30. We are also in Spring, Texas.  No idea what it's about, but when they told my mom that she was valued and needed to hear it -she agreed!  I have to admit that I got a chuckle out of her reaction, but it concerns me that someone could be calling trying to find out when people are at home.  I truly hope it's just some bizarre "do-gooder". It would be nice not to have to be suspicious of even anonymous callers, but hey it's a crazy world.  I'm just glad I found this website, and that so far it seems like nothing bad has come of it with the other people who also experienced this.

Spring Tx.  On 6-6-08 at 10:27am there is a messge on my answering machine that I an important and appreciated and needed to hear it.

Spring TX- just received a call from this number.  Male voice also.  Very strange as there is no 247 area code.  What's really strange is all these calls seem to take place in Houston and surrounding areas.

Just received a call from this number, but the message was slightly different, live in Houston also, very strange.

I received the "call" - quite pleasant, but in today's world, suspicious!  Had another a few months back ... no repercussions.  FYI, also Houston area.

I also just got this call at 2:33 pm in Spring Texas.  I was dumbfounded.  What the heck?????  Is it a phone slammer????  Somebody find this idiot !!!!

Just a thought.  Does anyone attend Fellowship of the Woodlands, or another big church?? Im thinking it is a marketing ploy.  Just a thought

I got a similar message about 10:45 a.m. today, but the voice was that of a male and said that "someone wants you to know that you are appreciated." I called the number back, with and without the area code, and a recording said the call could not be completed at dialed.

Same call.  It was nice to hear.  Random acts of kindness should be practiced by all.  Sugar Land Tx

Nice message....I'll receive that! BUT...kinda' spooky too. I suppose whoever sent it is enjoying reading these reports! Makes ya' wonder.
