I answered.It was a generic recording from Revenue Services about a new MSP account being established and giving me contact information if I wanted more information.

100% not a scam.

Very curious to know how you easily proved this as a scam, as I know for a fact it is not. Shame on you for spreading misinformation.

I receive voice messages from this number a few times a week.

I too have received numerous  voice mails from BC Revenue who collect the MSP Premiums for the BC Govrrnment. My account is up to date.
The problem is that Telus recycles old cell telephone numbers and it turned out my new cell number formerly belonged to someone else who was behind on their payments. So If your cell number is new then you may havr the same isuue since cell numbers are recycled by all the phone companies it seems- Telus, Bell and Rogers etc. I have had other calls chasing the previous person who had my number before me. Very annoying. -i called BC Revenue Services and they have fixed the problem. Dr B

I got call ffrom this no so many time. When i call back it say revenue  services in automated phone machine.at last i called CRA in different no. They check my ac and told me there was not any call from CRA.it seems fake it is a bigTRAP n SCAM.
If CRA needs any info or money they will mail letter to you n never call you.So guys Beware of this SCAM

RSBC or Revenue Services of British Columbia, Canada collects all payments for the province, including for MSP Medical Services Plan...they have antiquated & harrassing method of when you are a month or even a few days behind of calling with this CID with a message or not OR saying UNKNOWN and no message early or late in the day, REPEATEDLY They should just charge late fee interest like other utilities. As some health plan users are challenged or elderly or ill or whatever, they somehow feel they need to call endlessly. In my case I had already called and explained my situation, but STILL endless calls. They should have a separate message for MSP and a more modern empathetic system!

this is SCAM!!!!! i received a message and called an OFFICIAL number from the BC website, not the CRAP provided in the voicemail. BC services had no idea what it was for and my account was current. BLOCK the number.

This is not true, we received this call, and our employer pays 100% of our health care . No NDP owed here.

They call all the time with reminders, even though we pay every month on time.
